How to find the targets without circling forever
Use traffic for the common sedans, vans, buses, and cabs, and use parked and mission spawns for the rarities. The Dodo sits in the Francis International hangars, the BF Injection only appears at Misty's in the evening after Sayonara Salvatore, and the Securicar is most reliably secured after Donald Love's Decoy. A Moonbeam or Perennial from the Harbor lot is easier to keep intact than a high-speed chase car.
Emergency vehicles follow different rules. Barracks OL appears at Phil's Surplus and at high wanted levels, the FBI Car only shows at five stars, the Rhino only after The Exchange or at six stars, and standard Police and Enforcer vehicles are at stations as well as on patrol. Grab these with a plan for losing heat before delivery.
Practical delivery habits
Deliver with low damage for the cleanest payout, keep a second vehicle nearby for the trip back, and avoid gang turf with a hot vehicle's doors open to gunfire. The crane wants the vehicle placed squarely on the magnet, while the garages want you driven inside and stopped. If a delivery vehicle smokes, repair at Pay 'n' Spray before you cross the bridge.
