Maps are the round locations where Survivors hack computers, rescue teammates, and reach the exits while the Beast hunts them. Current maps form the regular rotation, event maps can return for special rotations, and removed maps preserve the history behind older layouts and remakes.

How map voting works
During intermission, players vote for a map. The selected map becomes the round arena for Survivors and the Beast, so use the vote to choose a layout your team understands instead of relying on the name alone.
What to learn first
- Find the main rooms, stairways, windows, and open crossings before the Beast arrives.
- As a Survivor, learn more than one route between computers, freeze pods, and exits so a chase does not leave you trapped.
- As the Beast, watch the routes that connect busy rooms and use doors, corners, and sightlines to cut off escapes.
- Call out landmarks clearly. Near the barn or on the second floor is more useful than a vague panic signal.
Availability and remakes
Current maps are part of the permanent rotation. Event maps can appear during seasonal or special rotations, then leave again when the event ends. Removed maps are no longer part of the regular vote, but their replacement or remake may still shape the active rotation.
FAQ
How does map voting work in Flee the Facility?
During intermission, players vote for a map. The selected map becomes the arena for the next round, so recognizing its rooms and escape routes helps before the chase begins.
Can an event map appear in the permanent rotation?
No. Event maps depend on seasonal or special rotations and can disappear when the event ends.
What does a remake note mean?
It connects an older map to a newer version that replaced it in the active rotation. The layouts may share a theme or familiar areas without being the same map.
Should new players learn removed maps first?
Start with the current rotation so you can use that knowledge in regular rounds. Removed maps are most useful for understanding older layouts and recognizing their remakes.
