Your role changes every decision. Survivors balance progress, teammates, and escape routes. The Beast reads clues, controls space, and carries downed Survivors to Freeze Pods. Learn the shape of the map and the broad style of each Beast power, then make your next move before the chase makes it for you.

Maps:
Maps are the round locations where Survivors hack computers and escape while the Beast hunts them. At intermission, players vote for a map before both sides are sent into it. Current maps stay in the regular rotation, event maps depend on special rotations, and removed maps explain older layouts and their remakes.
Beast Powers:
Beast powers let the Beast choose a chase style before entering the map. Runner focuses on mobility, Stalker hides warning signals, and Seer pressures Survivors to hide before revealing those left exposed. The choice changes how Survivors should read and respond to a chase.
Flee the Facility Gameplay Tips
- Identify your role and its objective before committing to a route. Survivors need progress and a way out; the Beast needs clues, pressure, and a good path to the next target.
- As a Survivor, learn one landmark, its nearby connectors, and a fallback route before you spread too far from your teammates. A small reliable route beats a grand tour of every hallway.
- As the Beast, watch objective pressure and route intersections instead of searching every room at random. Active areas usually tell you where the chase wants to go next.
- Treat the map vote as a route decision. Use the map index to learn the layouts, the Beast power guide to compare released playstyles, and the action prompts in your current client when a control is unclear.
