Choosing a Beast power
Choose a power before entering the map, then activate it through the in-game Beast power control. Runner suits a direct chase, Stalker rewards quiet pressure, and Seer helps punish Survivors who stay visible.
How the playstyles differ
- Runner: Focuses on closing distance and changes the Beast's movement behavior while active. The Beast cannot jump during use, so plan routes around the map rather than relying on vertical shortcuts.
- Stalker: Suppresses the Beast's heartbeat, footsteps, and gemstone glow, making the usual warning signals less reliable. Its movement and door-opening behavior also change while active.
- Seer: Warns Survivors to hide, then reveals those who remain exposed. Direct sight of a Survivor can help the Beast keep pressure during the chase.
Survivor responses
Against Runner, create distance early and use corners before the Beast reaches you. Against Stalker, watch sightlines and doors instead of waiting for the usual sound or glow cues. Against Seer, hide as soon as the warning appears, because staying visible can give away your position.
