In Far Far West, a co-op Western shooter, you take bounty jobs as one of the robot cowboys. You can play alone or with up to three friends, and the Wild West here has a supernatural twist, with haunted mines and deserts. You fight with six-shooters and other guns, and you switch to spells like fireballs in real time.
Each run starts in town, where you talk to the Trackman to pick a mission. Before you head out, you set up your gear. Jokers are cards that add bonuses to your hero or a weapon, and each one costs slots, so space is limited. You find them in missions, in the shop and at the Gamba Machine, and Weapon Jokers you equip at the Gunsmith are permanent.
On the map, you work through the mission's objectives while enemies come at you, and the bounty boss is the big fight at the end. Getting out with your rewards is how a run wraps up. Weapons unlock with Blueprints at the Gunsmith, and spells unlock as each spell school levels up, so there's always something new to work toward.

Jokers
In Far Far West, Jokers are perk cards you equip on your hero or a weapon to add bonuses and special effects. They come in six rarity tiers, from Normal to Unique, and each one takes up a set amount of slot points. You can buy them in town, find them during missions, or unlock a handful through secret tasks on the map.
Weapons
Far Far West weapons sit in a main weapon slot and a sidearm slot. The Quad Cylinder and Revolver are unlocked from the start, and every other weapon costs eight Blueprints at the Gunsmith. Guns in each slot draw from separate ammo, and sidearm hits can apply Acid, Pyro, Elec or Frost, so your sidearm choice decides which status effects you can add to enemies.
Spells
Spells are the special abilities that work alongside your guns in Far Far West. They're split across six schools (Acid, Cactus, Elec, Fire, Frost and Voodoo), and you equip three at a time. Some spells lay down effects, such as acid pools or cactus summons, that other spells can trigger, and those combos often produce the biggest damage.
Maps
Every mission in Far Far West takes place on one of the game's maps. Each map has a fixed layout with its own terrain, mechanics, quests and secrets, while the arrival point, main objective, boss spawner and extraction point are placed at random for each mission. Far West, Desert and Canyon are open from the start, and the rest unlock through questlines that run in a set order. Most maps also have a difficulty rating, hidden Hero Graves and a secret mission.
Far Far West gameplay tips
- Check the Dealmakers before you finish the main objective. The lighthouse in town reveals them. Each Dealmaker offers two optional modifiers that award XP to your hero and both equipped weapons, plus Uranium based on difficulty, and they leave once the main objective is done.
- Keep an eye on Disturbance before you take a side objective. Side objectives raise it by 15%, and the main objective raises it by 10%. Enemies move 5%, 15% and 30% faster at 35%, 70% and 100%, and at 100% the boss spawner gains 10% health and a Ragestorm hits, so every side objective you skip keeps the map easier for longer.
- Compare the two Jokers before you pick one. Picking up a Joker lets you choose between two of the same rarity, so rarity won't decide it for you. Look at what each one adds to your hero or a weapon, and take the one that suits your playstyle.
- Dive with the Jetpack when enemies are bunched up. The Jetpack is a secondary weapon, and while you're flying, right-click dives you to the ground. The dive damages nearby enemies, so it works best when they're crowded around the spot where you land.
- Summon the bounty boss once the main objective is done. Finishing the main objective lets you summon the boss at the Boss Spawner. Beating it is what lets you extract, so this is the step that opens the way out.
- Set up spell combos in the right order. Hit a target with Fire or Elec first, then cast Acid Thrower to trigger the Acid DPS Burst combo. Or cast Elec Strikes into an Acid Geyser to get a Multi-Geyser.
