Dandy's World is a cartoon horror survival game: a team of toons descends floor by floor through a research facility, completing extraction machines while twisted versions of their friends hunt them through the halls. It is Dandy's cheerful art style stretched over a very simple, very effective loop of work, hide, and run.
Every toon carries five stats and a pair of abilities that define a role: fast scouts kite twisteds away, stealthy workers grind machines in dangerous corners, and support toons keep the team's stamina and health topped up. Twisteds play by their own numbers, and the difference between a 10-speed wanderer and a sprinting main twisted decides whether you loot or leave.
Between runs, ichor earned on the floors buys new toons and trinkets from Dandy's store, while researching twisteds by surviving near them unlocks the rest of the catalog. The deeper the floor, the faster and meaner the twisteds get, and the run only ends one way; the question is how many floors you clear first.
