Floors are the named environments that shape movement, machine routes, and escape choices in Dandy's World. Standard stages can enter the normal pool from Floor 1+ or Floor 6+, while Dyle's Floor needs the TIME'S UP Card on an odd-numbered Floor 9+ and Break Room follows every 25th-floor milestone. Landmarks and layout variants help with callouts, while seasonal rooms and floor modifiers sit outside the durable stage set.

Items are consumable run resources in Dandy's World that push machines forward, change extraction checks, restore stamina or health, and create escape windows. Find them in floor pools, buy them from Dandy's Elevator Shop with Tapes, or receive special entries through abilities, cards, and event shops. The choice is about the problem in front of you: machine progress, a stamina reset, healing, or a distraction before the next chase starts.

Dandy's World uses Ichor and Research for progress that stays with your account, while Tapes are spent inside a run. Ichor handles store purchases, Research tracks Twisted study, and Tapes buy Items or activate Tape-cost Toon Abilities during a run. Event currencies such as Baskets, Ornaments, and Pumpkins reset with their events, so they sit outside the core economy.

Toons are the playable characters: each has hearts plus skill check, speed, stamina, stealth, and extraction stats, and an active and passive ability that define a role like machine worker or distractor. Commons unlock cheaply with ichor while mains demand research milestones for stronger kits. Team composition across those stat lines is the real strategy layer of every run.

Twisteds are the corrupted toons hunting each floor, and each runs on hard numbers: walk and chase speed, an attention span that times every pursuit, a detection range, and usually a mechanic that punishes machines, skill checks, or careless movement. Mains layer several rules into boss-grade encounters. Researching them by surviving nearby unlocks trinkets and toons.

Trinkets are two-slot passive equipment picked before each run: flat stat boosts, conditional effects that trigger in panic mode, and utility that reshapes a toon's role. Store trinkets are bought with ichor while research trinkets require hitting 100% research on a specific twisted. Matching the pair to a toon's job is the closest thing the game has to a build system.
