How rebirth pets work
Rebirth is the long-term luck multiplier in Build a Base and Steal. Open the rebirth panel on the left side of the screen when you have enough cash and the named pets sitting in your base. Confirming rebirth wipes your current pets and resets your short-term income, but you keep permanent Pet Luck, higher max pet slots, extra base floors, and unlocked gear.
The named pet requirement is strict. A pet you rolled earlier does not count if it is not in your base at confirm time. Pair pets are common in early and mid tiers, so plan for two slots before you spend on the money threshold.
Rolling at the Egg Mystery
The Egg Mystery platform is the main roll loop. Each roll shows a pet preview, and you pay a claim cost in cash to add it to your base. Pet Luck, raised through rebirth and related upgrades, shifts rolls toward rarer names over time.
Do not reroll away a pet you still need for an upcoming rebirth tier. Dragon, Unicorn, and other late gate names are painful to see vanish from the roll window when you are one tier away.
Stealing pets from other bases
Stealing is a full obtain path alongside rolling. Walk into another player's plot with the right gear, grab a pet, and sprint back to your conveyor before their defenses wake up. Valuable gate pets on busy servers are common raid targets, which cuts both ways: stealing can skip hours of rolling, but your own gate pets need layered walls, traps, and gear before you attempt rebirth.
Offline earnings still apply to pets left in a defended base, so protecting income pets matters even when you are not in the server.
