The Ghost Zone is the 13th and farthest zone in Steal Animal Egg, past Glitch City. Its banner recommends 1 trillion Speed, ten times the 100 billion recommended for Glitch City, so that's the number to plan around before you go.
Reaching the nest is only half the run. The egg still has to make it back to base.
How to Reach the Ghost Zone in Steal Animal Egg
Follow the zone path from base, through Glitch City, and keep going. The Ghost Zone is the farthest stop from the Safe Zone, so you pass every other zone on the way.
When you arrive, the banner at the end of the path shows Grandpa Demon difficulty and Recommended: 1T Speed. The jump from Glitch City is steep.

How Much Speed You Need for the Ghost Zone Guardian
The zone is guarded by the 1x1x1x1 NPC, a massive ghost with incredible speed. Its difficulty is Grandpa Demon, the highest tier in the game's difficulty system. Below 1 trillion Speed, you won't outrun it, and its attack often flings players back to the Safe Zone.
Set this up at base before you go:
- Equip the best Trail you can get.
- Upgrade the Table to its maximum level.
- Sit on the Table to AFK farm Speed until you reach the banner's recommended target, currently 1 trillion.
If your banner shows a different recommended Speed, go with the banner. If you're still building toward it, the Steal Animal Egg speed farming guide can help with the grind.
Stealing a Spirit Egg From Its Nest
Look for a large white, ghost-shaped egg with a face and small purple horns. It sits on a dark nest with teal lights.

- Walk up to the egg and stand beside it until the grab icon appears.
- Activate the Steal prompt, which is labeled E.
- Start running. The egg moves overhead, the screen edges turn red, RUN!! appears, and a Drop button shows up.
Getting the Egg Back to Base Without Dropping It
- Keep carrying the egg, and don't press Drop.
- Retrace the zone path through the same zones until you reach base.
- Walk into base. When You stole an EGG! appears, the delivery is complete and the red screen effect ends.

Until that message appears, the egg isn't delivered yet, so keep going.
What a Ghost Zone Egg Hatches Into
After delivery, the egg appears in the Growing Eggs list as the Zone 13 Egg, with a countdown. Wait for the countdown to finish, then select Open to hatch it.
Each Spirit Egg holds 10 pets, all themed on ghosts or Halloween, and each hatch gives you one of them. The result depends on your RNG luck and each pet's hatch chance, so you can't pick the one you want.
Spirit Eggs also come in different sizes. Even a x20-size egg can appear in the zone, and hatching one gives you a giant pet that earns billions of Cash every second. Other players on the server can grab those eggs too, so don't hesitate when you spot one.
You can also submit Spirit Egg pets to the Animal Merging machine.
Spectral Katana: Collect the Pets or Buy It
The Spectral Katana has a x26 AoE (area-of-effect) multiplier, and it's the weapon the Ghost Zone pets unlock. Each new Spirit Egg pet you hatch registers in the index, and filling the index pays out more than a billion Cash and Speed. There are two ways to get the Katana, and they cost different things:
| Route | What it costs | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Collect all of the Ghost Zone pets | Time spent stealing eggs and hatching them | The Spectral Katana, unlocked in the Bats Shop |
| Buy it from the Bats Shop | 499 Robux | The Spectral Katana, no matter how many Spirit Egg pets you own |
If you're hatching Spirit Eggs anyway, the collection route costs no Robux, so use it. If you only want the weapon, 499 Robux skips the whole collection.
