The Ancient Egg activity is a documented way to farm Amber Shards during the Jurassic event:

1. Wait for the Ancient Egg activity to open, then collect the small eggs around the main island.
2. Carry the eggs to the large Ancient Egg in the Chaos Pit.
3. Deposit them to receive event rewards, including Amber Shards.
4. Save those Shards for Jurassic Crate spins.

The activity returns roughly every seven minutes, but the timing can change with the live event, so use the in-game timer. Treat it as a Shard-farming route unless the current reward panel shows a direct Dinosaur Egg reward; do not assume depositing an Ancient Egg guarantees one.

Jurassic Crate Cost and Dinosaur Egg Odds

A Jurassic Crate spin costs 125 Amber Shards or 19 Robux. Each spin gives one result from the reward pool:

The 2.4% figure is the chance for the Crate to award a Dinosaur Egg. It is separate from the hatch chances below, which determine which fighter comes out after you obtain and hatch the egg. A Dinosaur Egg hatches one fighter from the five-result pool below. These are hatch chances, not the 2.4% chance of winning the egg from the Crate, and they add up to 100%.

Primeval Chicken is the rarest result at 0.5%, while Raptor Chick is the most common at 52%. After hatching, the ability attached to that fighter is the part that changes how it attacks.

Raptor Chick: Pack Rush

Pack Rush charges the target four times and deals damage with each hit. Raptor Chick gains increased speed and knockback potential while dashing, but a rival's ability can interrupt the rush before the sequence finishes.

Tricera Chick: Tri-Horn Charge

Tri-Horn Charge fires three glowing horns from different angles, then creates a ground burst that throws the rival upward.

Stego Rooster: Primal Plates

Primal Plates sends four forward shockwaves one after another. A sweep follows the shockwaves, dealing damage, applying knockback, and granting Stego Rooster Shield for 3 seconds.

Rex Rooster: Tyrant's Roar

Tyrant's Roar creates three shockwaves that travel in a line before Rex Rooster bites the target. The bite has more damage, knock-up, and knockback than all three shockwaves combined.

Primeval Chicken: Extinction

Extinction darkens the sky and drops four meteors. The meteors deal both hit damage and blast damage across an area.
