Artifacts are relics of Wobbly history, scattered across Planet Wobb and Space in Wobbly Life. You dig them up, fish them out or find them in set spots, then hand them in to the Museum in the City or the Collector's Emporium in Space. Finish a collection and you unlock a costume, vehicle or pet. You can collect and keep track of every artifact as you hand it in.

What Are Artifacts in Wobbly Life?
Artifacts are relics from Wobbly history that have been misplaced, hidden or not yet discovered. Planet Wobb artifacts give off a golden glow, while Space artifacts glow blue, so the glow is how you spot them in the world. Every artifact is a piece of a collection, and the collections are where the rewards come from.
Donated artifacts lose their glow. If you find a Planet Wobb artifact that doesn't glow, it has already been donated, and you can sell it at the Pawn Shop or to a Treasure Map vendor.
How to Find Artifacts on Planet Wobb
The first method is treasure hunting. You start a hunt on Easy, Medium or Hard from the Pawn Shop in the City, or from a Treasure Map vendor on Mountain Island or Jungle Island. Harder maps cost more and cover a bigger circle, and the treasure they turn up that isn't an artifact pays out more. Every difficulty has the same chance of turning up an artifact.
Many map artifacts are buried at a marked spot, so you dig right where the map points. Anything buried in the ground or sand needs a metal detector, which you buy from the shops, and you use it at the spot the hint describes. Some artifacts are easy to grab once you find them, while others have been hidden by magic. A rune on a wall needs the right wizard potion to reveal what's behind it, and each rune calls for its own potion.
Others come from missions, shop purchases and activities like mining and smashing pottery. Pottery can hold a solid gold goblet, and mining uranium ore rarely turns up pure uranium gems. Drive a vehicle through the Farm Island hay bales or the City trash cans until one spawns. Some artifacts are tucked into sewers behind a grate, and others are found after working through puzzles in caves and temples.
Fishing for Ocean Artifacts
Fishing is how you get the Ocean artifacts, and it only works in set water spots rather than on land. Each artifact has its own spot, such as the coral reef near Jungle Island, deep water, or the shallow sea off Paradise Island beach.
How to Find Space Artifacts
Space artifacts don't come from treasure maps, so you won't need the Pawn Shop for them. They're found in fixed spots on asteroids and inside a crashed spaceship, at the end of some Cadet mission puzzles, and by fishing in space. Some are made rather than found. Nebulite mined during the Mining job creates an artifact once it's carried out of the job and put through the shrinking machine in the Space Mall's Cargo Bay.
Some spots need a tool or a trick. Certain walls can only be broken with a pickaxe, and an upper ledge in the Asteroid Mine needs a piece of clothing that boosts movement, or a walk all the way around the cave.
Where to Turn In Artifacts
Planet Wobb artifacts go to the Museum in the City. It's the building where all of those artifacts are brought, and it's split into rooms so each collection has its own display. Space artifacts go to the Collector's Emporium in Space, which is the Space version of the Museum.
Each artifact ends up on display in its collection, so your progress shows up in each room as you go.
Artifact Collections and Their Rewards
Artifacts are grouped into collections, and each collection unlocks its own reward once every artifact in it has been handed in. Those rewards come as clothing, vehicles or pets. For example, the Wizard Outfit lets you turn into a frog and swim, the Sewer Bike is a vehicle, and the Gemmy Pet is a pet.
A collection only pays out once it's complete, so a single missing artifact holds back the whole reward. That's why it's worth tracking down the rest of a set rather than stopping at the first find.
Flying Car and Space Credit Rewards
Finishing every Planet Wobb collection sets off a grand opening at the Museum. The Curator Wobbly starts a cutscene, the Mayor cuts a ribbon, and an animation shows NPC Wobblys admiring the collections you've worked on. The Collector's Emporium has the same kind of opening once its collections are complete.
The Museum's big prize is the Flying Car. It's a land, sea and air vehicle and the most versatile one in the game, which makes it useful for getting around the island. The Emporium's reward is a daily payout of Space Credits from the Collector. Finishing your first Planet Wobb collection earns an achievement, and so do completing the whole Museum and the whole Emporium.
FAQ
What happens when you hand an artifact in at the Museum?
A dialogue box appears and a cutscene plays. The camera moves toward the spot where the artifact will be held, the artifact appears there, and a short description shows up, such as "a footprint from a Wobblysaurus."
Where do you get the Flying Car in Wobbly Life?
The Flying Car is in the Museum's basement. Once the Museum is complete, a door to the basement unlocks, and that's where you collect the car. The basement has a secret exit that lets you drive the car out, but it doesn't open from the outside.
How many Space Credits do you get each day in Wobbly Life?
The Collector's daily reward ranges from roughly 30 to 90 Space Credits. It starts once the Collector's Emporium is complete.
Who is the Collector in Wobbly Life?
The Collector is a robot made out of scrap who runs the Collector's Emporium in Space. It's still building up the place, and it has made many of the artifacts on display itself.
