Wobbly Life is an open-world sandbox, which means you can wander and play however you like, and almost everything in the world can be grabbed, played with or experimented with. The game opens with Grandma throwing you out of the house and telling you to go get a job, so your first goal is to earn enough money to buy a home of your own. Jobs are how you get there, and they range from pizza delivery and firefighting to taxi driving and disco dancing.
Money is what keeps the loop going. Every job pays you, and that cash goes toward clothes, vehicles, pets from the Pet Shop and eventually a home, so what you earn shows up in how your Wobbly looks, gets around and lives. Between jobs you roam Wobbly Island, a set of linked areas such as the busy city, Residential Island and Mountain Island. Along the way you can play minigames, work through story missions full of puzzles and challenges, and pick up presents that give money and sometimes clothes.
The bigger goals are the Wobbly Museum, where lost artifacts are waiting to be found, and Space, which opened up with the 1.0 Space update. Qualified astronauts can launch from the Space Center on Jungle Island to the Space Station, a hub with its own jobs and missions. You can do all of it alone or with friends, playing together online or on one screen in split-screen co-op with up to four players, and Arcade mode is there when you want a break from the island.

Collectibles
Wobbly Island Presents
Wobbly Island presents are hidden collectibles spread across Planet Wob, and each one pays cash, unlocks a piece of clothing or hands you a vehicle. They're tucked into buildings, caves, puzzle areas and out in the open, and a small number need a mission, key, puzzle or special outfit to reach. Collecting enough of them unlocks milestone rewards, and gathering every one unlocks the Wizard's Cape. Use the in-game present counter to keep track as you go.
Space Presents
Space presents are hidden pickups spread across the Space Station, the asteroids, the Crystal Caves inside the Black Hole, the Robot Factory and several space missions. Most give cash, and some also unlock outfits, a pet or a ship. You need a Space Licence to reach them, and collecting the full counted set unlocks the Wizard Ship. A bonus Mysterious Crystal Ship present sits outside that count.
Artifacts
Artifacts are relics of Wobbly history, scattered across Planet Wobb and Space. Players dig them up, fish them out, buy them or find them in set spots, then hand them in to the Museum or the Collector's Emporium. Completing each collection unlocks a costume, vehicle or pet, and finishing the Museum or Emporium adds the Flying Car or daily Space Credits.
Wobbly Life gameplay tips
- Do your shopping in the city. The city has the most stores in one place, including the clothing shop, car dealership, mechanic, dye shop and pawn shop, so you can handle several errands in one spot.
- Look at the homes before you save up. Residential Island has homes you can buy, and Mansion Island has the grandest and most expensive ones, so browsing both early gives you a clear target to save toward.
- Turn in every Museum find. Buy a treasure map, solve its clues and bring back what you find, since turning in finds is what unlocks the rewards.
- Check your friend's platform before inviting them. In version 1.1, invite codes let you join friends across PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Amazon Luna and Nintendo platforms, while mobile stays in its own group, so you'll know whether a friend on mobile can join you.
- Set up Arcade mode before you start. Trash Zone, Hide & Seek, Wobble Run and Sandbox each have customizable settings, so tweaking them first lets you set up each game the way you like it.
