Timebomb Duels maps shape how you chase an opponent or escape one. A route that works across decks may need a different approach when the next arena puts a gap between platforms.

Learn an exit before a chase
When you enter an unfamiliar arena, look for a route you can repeat without guessing. Start with nearby ladders and platforms, then connect them into a longer path. A jump you barely made once is a risky escape plan.
Keep track of where your route ends. Reaching another level helps less if you have to stop there and search for the next way out. Learn a return path as well as the outward jump so you can change direction when an opponent follows.
