How Squid Game X Boosts Work
Each boost improves one part of your character, such as your speed, your health or how high you can jump. Every time you raise a boost's level, its effect gets stronger. You spend in-game money to level them up, so how quickly you build your character depends on how well you do in each round. Some boosts help in nearly every round, while others only matter in one game, so it's worth knowing what each one does before you spend.
Which Squid Game X Boosts to Max First
Sprint Boost is the one to max out first, and the reason is how often running matters. It raises your running speed with every level, and running comes up in Red Light, Green Light, races to the finish line and Night Brawl.
Health Boost comes right after it. It raises your maximum health and helps in games where players can damage each other.
Are the Other Squid Game X Boosts Worth Buying?
Jump Boost is the next one to consider if you play Glass Bridge. Jump height goes up with each level. It also helps you escape and reposition during Night Brawl. Damage Boost suits players who like to fight up close in Night Brawl, since it makes those hits stronger.
Tug of War Skill speeds up the skill checks in Tug of War, so it has no use outside that round. Glass Inspect is the one most players can skip. It reveals fake glass one row per level, but only up to halfway across Glass Bridge.
FAQ
Do I need Robux to buy boosts?
No. Robux isn't required, and in-game money from play is enough to buy them.
Does Damage Boost work on guns?
No. It only raises melee damage, so it does nothing for gun damage. If you rely on guns, Sprint Boost and Health Boost are a better use of your in-game money.
Is Guard Earnings Boost worth it?
It only adds in-game money while you play as a Guard, so it pays off if you spend a lot of rounds in that role. If you mostly play as a contestant, you can skip it.
