Shogun Showdown is a turn-based tactics roguelike, so every run is a fresh fight toward the Shogun, with attacks you collect and upgrade along the way. Its Steam achievements are badges Steam awards for specific feats, such as beating the Shogun, landing a big combo or finishing a run under a strict rule.

How Shogun Showdown Steam Achievements Work
Each achievement unlocks the moment you meet its condition, and Steam records it right away. Most are hidden on Steam, so you won't see their names or requirements there until you've earned them, which means learning what the game rewards before you can chase the hidden ones.
Most goals are built around the Shogun, the target every run leads toward. You fight on a short strip, moving, turning and using the tiles you've collected, and the game rewards you for using them in specific ways.
Boss and Day Clear Achievements
Some achievements are for beating one specific boss along the way. Daisuke the Dasher, the Twins, Hideyoshi, Nobunaga the Wicked and Ieyasu each have one, and Shortest Play asks you to beat Sato the Stagemaster before his show moves past Act 1.
The Day clears are the bigger test. Days are the game's difficulty levels, and each new Day adds a rule on top of the last: Day 2 brings in elite enemies, Day 3 means fewer consumables, Day 4 can corrupt bosses, and the later Days make the fight harder still. Days unlock one after another and must be cleared separately for each hero, so you can't jump straight to the hardest version with a new character.
Beating the Shogun on Days 2 through 6 each has its own achievement, and Day 7 has one for the final battle, which the game keeps hidden as "???". Shogun Slayer has no Day requirement, so a win on any Day counts toward it.
Combat Feat Achievements
Combat achievements reward big turns in a fight. Three of them ask for multiple kills in one turn, starting at three and climbing to five. Triple Treat is the first step, and each one after it needs one more kill in the same turn.
The rest reward sharper play. Farsighted asks for a kill from eight cells away, so reach matters. Colossal Attack wants one attack that deals 25 damage, and Puppet Master needs 40 enemies to kill one another in a single run. Honorable Death asks you to slay a boss and fall in that same turn, which makes it the odd one out.
Enemies act after you and show their next move, so you can plan a turn around what they're about to do. The way to these moments is to read those moves and set up your tiles so one action reaches several targets, or sends enemies into each other.
Stamp Goal Achievements
Stamps are a set of harder challenges that each hero earns separately, such as Swift Killer, Strategist, Combo Master and Obliteration. Each stamp also has an Ultimate version, which is the same challenge made harder.
Swift Killer is the one built around the clock, since it asks you to beat the Shogun in under 30 minutes. The other stamps ask for different things, such as keeping turns low, landing enough combo kills or taking very few hits.
Four achievements cover the Swift Killer, Strategist, Combo Master and Obliteration stamps, each earned with any hero. Stamp Collector asks for every stamp with a single hero, and True Mastery asks for every Ultimate stamp across all heroes, which makes it the biggest stamp goal of all.
A good starting point for Swift Killer is Day 1, since it has no added rules and gives you the most predictable setup for a timer. Ranged tiles help too, because they let you hit enemies from a distance instead of walking up to them.
Restricted Run Achievements
Restricted run achievements ask you to beat the Shogun while following one strict rule. Juggernaut wants a deck with only 7 or 8 cooldown tiles, and Blitz wants 0 or 1. Trusty Weapons means picking up no new tiles at all, so your starting set has to carry the whole fight.
Frugal Fighter bans using consumables, though you're still allowed to sell them. True Skills bans buying any skills, and One-Way Warrior bans turning around in any battle. Each rule shapes every turn of the run, so plan your hero and route before you leave camp.
Progress and Economy Achievements
These goals track your overall growth across many runs. Thrifty asks you to gather 150 coins or more in one run, and Ultimate Tile means raising one tile all the way to level 8, the maximum.
Ultimate Arsenal asks you to unlock every tile and skill, and Untold Legends asks you to beat the Shogun with every hero. Both take many runs. Skulls you collect from bosses open new tiles and skills between runs, so your collection grows bit by bit.
Which Shogun Showdown Achievements Take the Longest
The goals that matter most are the ones that tie the whole game together. Shogun Slayer comes first, since beating the Shogun is the core goal everything else builds on. After that, Untold Legends, Stamp Collector and True Mastery are the big finishing goals, and True Mastery asks the most, since it needs every Ultimate stamp on every hero.
