Paint And SEEK! is hide-and-seek with a twist: instead of ducking behind cover, hiders paint themselves to match the wall and vanish in plain sight. Every round splits players into hiders and seekers and drops them into one room, and the whole match is a staring contest.
As a hider you start as a plain grey block, copy the bricks, cracks, and colors around you, then freeze and hope nothing about your shape gives you away. As a seeker you sweep the room hunting for the one slab that breaks the pattern. The hardest part for hiders is holding still, since moving across open space gives you away faster than an imperfect paint job ever will.

Maps:
Paint And SEEK! plays out across four maps: House, Grocery Store, Bank, and Arcade. Each one changes how camouflage reads through its lighting, surfaces, and colors, from the forgiving furnished House to the clean, punishing Bank and the high-contrast neon of the Arcade. Knowing which map suits your hiding style is one of the main choices a player makes.

Paint And SEEK Gameplay Tips
- Hide first, then paint to that exact surface. Pick where you are going to settle before you choose a color, and match the real wall or prop you are pressed against instead of a similar-looking shade nearby. A color that fits the spot you are actually in is far harder to spot than one that only looks close from across the room.
- Match the lighting and texture along with the color. The same paint reads differently in shadow than in direct light, and a smooth marble wall does not look like rough wood or concrete. Adjust your shade for the light hitting you and try to match how shiny or rough the surface around you is, so your body blends into the material as well as the hue.
- Control your outline and hold completely still. A clean head-and-shoulders silhouette against a flat single-color wall gives you away even with a perfect color, so tuck against props, edges, and clutter that break up your shape. Once a seeker is near, stop moving entirely. Even tiny movement catches the eye, so make any last paint change before they round the corner rather than while they can see you.
- As a seeker, sweep slowly and hunt for what breaks the pattern. Move room to room in order instead of rushing, and look for a patch with the wrong texture, an outline that does not belong, or the smallest flicker of movement. High-clutter areas like shelves, doorways, and connected rooms are where hiders blend best, so give those a second, closer look.
