What holomem do in hololive Dreams
Holomem are the characters at the heart of hololive Dreams. You build facilities for them on an uninhabited floating island, working toward a theme park called Dream Park. They also team up with you for songs, and each member brings skills that can boost your score, protect your combo or restore health when you miss a note.
How to collect holomem for your park
Holomem join your park in two ways. You can find one around the park and chat with them, or you can invite them using Invitation Tickets, though a few members can't be invited. Exploring the park and using your Invitation Tickets are how you add members to your collection.
Cards are a separate system, even though they show the same members. The gacha gives you cards of members. Knowing this saves confusion when you're chasing a particular member, since a card and a member in your park are two different things.
How to unlock holomem as Leaders
Each holomem has a Holomem Quest, and finishing it unlocks that member as a Leader. A Leader is the member at the head of your team, so the more quests you finish, the more choices you have when you build a lineup.
Building a holomem team
A team has five slots: one Leader and four others. The Leader carries a lot of weight, since it contributes heavily to your team's overall score, so pick one you want to build up. The four others add their own skills to the mix.
Members can wear more than one outfit, and different outfits can come with different skills. The same member can play differently depending on the outfit you pick, so check the skills before you lock in a lineup.
Upgrading holomem with the Holomem Board
Each holomem has their own Holomem Board, which is where you make that member stronger. You reach it from the menu by choosing Holomem, selecting the character, and then Holomem Board. The board opens after you clear Main Quest EP6, and each member's board also needs that member's Holomem Quest cleared.
The nodes come in four colors, and each one works in its own way. Red nodes only count while their member is your Leader, and blue nodes count when the member is in your unit as a regular member. Green nodes raise every member's parameters, and yellow nodes raise score on that member's solo songs. Green and yellow both still work when the member isn't in your unit.
Every node is paid for with cubes in its own color, so a red node uses red cubes, and you earn those from member achievements and treasure boxes. You also spend that member's board points, which come from member rank rewards.
The Connect node sits in the center of the board. Placing a card there triggers that card's connect effect, and each card has its own range, so check what a card does before you place it.
There's no fixed order to follow. Pick nodes by how you use each member: red for a member you lead with, blue for one who sits in your unit, and green or yellow for one who never joins your team. That way every upgrade goes toward how you actually play.
FAQ
Do red Holomem Board nodes still work if I change my Leader?
No. Red nodes only count while their member is your Leader, so switching to a different Leader pauses the red nodes on the old Leader's board until that member leads again. Green and yellow nodes don't depend on the Leader slot, so they keep working.
Do I have to fill every node on a Holomem Board?
No. The board has many nodes, and you can come back to the rest once your main lineup is set. Spend your upgrade materials on the nodes that help the members you play most.
Is the hololive OFFICIAL CARD GAME the same as the cards in hololive Dreams?
No. The hololive OFFICIAL CARD GAME is a separate trading card game with its own rules, so the two aren't interchangeable.
