The Ammu-Nation Shooting Range is Vice City’s precision challenge and one of its easiest 100% requirements to overlook. It opens in the back room of the Downtown gun shop after The Shootist, but the score earned during that story mission does not replace the standalone challenge.

How the range works
Step into the pink marker in the Downtown Ammu-Nation after completing The Shootist. The challenge switches to first-person aiming and supplies a pistol with 100 rounds. Three human-shaped targets move sideways, and each is divided into five sections. You must destroy all five sections before that target awards its points and resets.
The closest target moves fastest and is worth one point. The middle target is worth two points. The far target moves slowest and is worth three points, which makes it the best scoring option once the nearer silhouettes no longer block a clean shot.
The two score thresholds
A score of 30 points passes the activity and pays $500. For 100% completion, you need 45 points in the standalone range. Reaching that higher target also unlocks faster reload speed for every weapon. If your save is stuck just below full completion, confirm that you returned after The Shootist and earned the higher score here.
A reliable 45-point approach
Use short aim movements and fire only when a target section crosses the reticle. Clearing the far target repeatedly gives the most points per completed silhouette. If the front and middle targets obstruct it, remove four sections from each without finishing them, then use the opened sight line on the far target. The ammunition limit leaves room for misses, but steady shots are more valuable than firing while dragging the aim across the lane.
The challenge can be retried, so a low score does not close the activity. Return to the marker, reset your rhythm, and treat the five sections as one scoring unit rather than five independent points.
