How the impound checks deliveries
Deliver road vehicles to the Civil Asset Forfeiture Impound compound in Viceport and watercraft to the Escobar International hangar. Drive or pilot the wanted model into the yard marker; the game checks the exact name, pays cash scaled by condition, and marks that model as delivered.
Each list tracks its own group of requests. Finishing a full list registers the list milestone and unlocks the next set of requests, so clearing one group before spreading effort elsewhere keeps the menu readable. Repair at a Pay n Spray before delivery when you can, since payout scales with condition.
Plan hunting by list
Car lists hold the street and road requests while the watercraft list holds the marine requests. Use vehicle type to recognize the target and delivery location to confirm the compound or hangar. When a model is common, it will appear in regular traffic; when it is rare, the row guidance points to its usual lane or turf rather than asking you to search blindly.
Keep an eye on condition on the final approach. A light scrape costs some cash, while a heavily damaged delivery can shave a lot of the reward even though the request still counts. Bring a clean example when possible and avoid combat on the way to the yard.
FAQ
Where do I deliver impound vehicles?
Road requests go to the Civil Asset Forfeiture Impound in Viceport by driving into the yard crane marker. Watercraft requests go to the Escobar International hangar and use its interior marker.
Does list progress require delivering the whole group?
The game registers a list milestone only after every model in that group has been delivered. The menu updates per group, not after a single drop-off.
Does condition affect the payout?
Yes. Cash scales with condition, so a repaired vehicle pays more than a damaged one. The request still counts when damaged, but the reward is lower.
When does the impound activity open?
The impound becomes available after the Story mission that opens the side mission, allowing Vict to start delivering requested models.
Are Online or other game impound lists mixed in?
No. This is the Vice City Stories Story Mode impound with its own road and watercraft lists.
