All 882 Vehicles in Grand Theft Auto Online

Updated on November 1, 2026 (about 5 hours ago)

GTA Online runs on its vehicle economy: hundreds of cars, bikes, boats, aircraft, and work machines bought from in-game dealers, stored in properties, tuned in workshops, and raced by class. This broad roster includes named service, train and trailer models that many player-vehicle databases exclude. A listed model is not necessarily purchasable or garage-storable.

Open Wheel holds the formula-style single-seaters. They are among the fastest things on a track, with extreme grip and braking, and they punish curb hits and contact. Buy one for racing, not for free roam cruising.

Buying and owning

Most road cars come from two dealers: Legendary Motorsport for high-end stock and Southern San Andreas Super Autos for everything else. Warstock Cache and Carry sells the military hardware, Elitas Travel sells aircraft, DockTease sells boats, and Arena War, Benny's, and the LS Car Meet handle specialist builds. Prices on the rows are source-recorded list prices, not a promise of current store stock. GTA Online removed many permanent store listings in 2023; a listed model may instead appear in rotating showrooms or player vehicle trades. Check the removed-vehicle acquisition guide and the in-game stores before planning a purchase. Where a trade price exists, the unlock row tells you which mission or progression step earns the discount. Some vehicles cannot be bought at all and show street theft, prize, or mission-only acquisition instead.

Storage decides what a purchase is actually worth. Ordinary cars and bikes live in garages, the MC clubhouse, or the Arena Workshop. Aircraft want hangars, large boats want docks or the Kosatka, and military hardware spreads across bunkers, facilities, and hangars. Pegasus vehicles are different: you call them in per use instead of walking to a garage. Always read the storage and delivery rows before an expensive purchase, since the wrong home means a long flight or an extra property bill.

Mods, selling, and races

Los Santos Customs covers paint, armor, and performance for most road vehicles, while specialist work splits off: Benny's for lowriders and customs, the LS Car Meet for tuner and HSW upgrades on supported platforms, the Arena Workshop for arena builds, and hangar, bunker, or facility workshops for armed and aircraft projects. Weapon, armor, and explosive-resistance rows describe what the vehicle tolerates, not what it deals out, so check both sides before taking a build into hostile lobbies.

Selling follows one regime across the board. Purchased high-end vehicles resell at Los Santos Customs or the LS Car Meet under a resale cap with diminishing returns for repeat sales in the same week, while Pegasus, service, and special vehicles cannot be sold for value at all. The sell row on each entry states which case applies.

Race eligibility is its own question. Most street classes race freely, armed and oversized builds are restricted or limited to transform races, and trains, trailers, and service machinery stay out entirely. The race row gives the verdict per vehicle, so a fast stat line never implies a starting grid.

Boats live at the water end of the garage problem. Small craft can sit in a dock or with Pegasus, while the submersible and the armed boats need property storage like the Kosatka moon pool. Check storage before buying, since a boat you cannot dock is a boat you call and abandon.

Commercial covers the box trucks, tankers, and haulers that keep businesses moving. Most are workhorses rather than keepers, and several cannot be stored or modified. Buy here when a business or a heavy lift demands it, not for the collection.

Compacts are cheap, light, and easy to throw around the city. They suit new players and stunt races where a small car squeezes through gaps. Modest prices mean you can experiment without much risk.

Coupes sit between style and speed, with grand tourers that cruise well and race acceptably. They are comfortable daily drivers for players who want one car that does most things.

Cycles are pedal-powered and need no storage at all. They suit triathlons, casual rides, and quiet approaches. Expect no mods and no race pace, just a free pair of wheels.

Emergency holds police cruisers, ambulances, fire trucks, and other service livery vehicles. Most cannot be bought or stored, and they exist for roleplay, missions, and free roam flavor. The purchasable law enforcement variants behave like normal personal vehicles with sirens attached.

Helicopters split between personal hangar aircraft and Pegasus call-ins. Hangar models can be modified and kept; Pegasus models are ordered per use. Armed helicopters carry trade prices tied to mission progress, so check the unlock before paying full price.

Industrial holds tractors, forklifts, dock handlers, and airfield tugs. These are scenery and mission props that happen to be drivable. Do not expect storage, mods, or race use.

Military is Warstock territory: tanks, APCs, gun trailers, and missile platforms. Storage runs through hangars, bunkers, and facilities rather than normal garages, and many entries cannot enter standard races. Read the storage and race rows carefully, since the wrong purchase parks somewhere inconvenient.

Motorcycles range from cheap street bikes to club customs and weaponized arena builds. Most live in garages or the MC clubhouse, while arena and custom variants need their own workshops. Bikes are fast and exposed, so armor and explosive resistance matter more here than in cars.

Muscle is old American iron with big engines and loose rear ends. Prices run wide, from affordable classics to six-figure customs. Rear-wheel drive and weight make them slide, which is the point in straight lines and the problem in corners.

Off-Road covers buggies, trucks, crawlers, and arena conversions built for dirt and chaos. True off-roaders climb and absorb bumps that street cars cannot. Arena variants trade race eligibility for weapons and boosts, so know which game you are buying for.

Planes need hangars, and the big or armed ones need more than that. Small stunt planes race well and store simply; gunships, bombers, and jets bring trade prices, property requirements, and race restrictions. Confirm the delivery method, since some aircraft arrive through Pegasus rather than the hangar floor.

Sedans are the everyday traffic of Los Santos, and several can be picked up cheap or stolen off the street. They make sensible first cars and low-drama mission runners. Armored sedan variants cost far more and exist for players who get shot at regularly.

Service covers buses, taxis, trash trucks, and utility rigs that work the city rather than your garage. These are listed models you will drive in missions or borrow in free roam, not vehicles to collect. Treat the section as reference, not a shopping list.

Sports is the broad middle of performance driving: quick coupes and imports that race well without supercar prices. This is where most players find their main car. Compare lap pace and handling feel over raw top speed, since these cars win in corners.

Sports Classics collect older performance cars and vintage racers. They look the part and cruise beautifully, and many accept period liveries and tuner mods. Some are competitive in classic races, while the rest are style purchases.

Super holds the hypercars and track weapons at the top of the price ladder. Expect Legendary Motorsport prices, garage storage, and race eligibility across most of the section. Verified top speed and lap pace separate the genuinely fast from the merely expensive.

SUVs blend passenger space with weight and presence. Armored and weaponized variants serve heists and business work, while the plain ones are sturdy daily drivers. They cost more to fill with mods than their speed suggests.

Trains appear because they are drivable-listed rail stock, including mission-specific variants. They cannot be bought, stored, or modified, and they cannot race. Read these rows as reference entries, not ownership options.

Utility holds tow trucks, tractors, carts, and support rigs. A few are storable and handy for roleplay or business flavor, but most are situational. Check acquisition first, since several entries have no dealer at all.

Trailers are hitched, not driven, and most exist as mission or business equipment. They cannot be stored in a garage or tuned at a shop. Read these rows as equipment reference rather than vehicles to own.

Vans serve businesses, heists, and workshop roles, with several doubling as mobile operations like gunrunning or nightclub logistics. Storage and mod options vary widely by variant. Match the van to the business before worrying about speed.

FAQ

Q.

Where do I buy vehicles in GTA Online?

Legendary Motorsport, Southern San Andreas Super Autos, Warstock Cache & Carry, Elitas Travel, DockTease, Benny's and specialist venues cover different vehicles. The acquisition row records a source-listed route, but old dealer listings are not always permanent; check current in-game stock, rotating showrooms, and player-to-player trade options before relying on a historical price. Some rows are service or mission models that cannot be bought.

Q.

How do trade prices work?

A trade price is a discounted price unlocked by completing specific missions, heists, or progression steps first. The trade price row shows the discount and the unlock row names the requirement. If no unlock is listed, pay the full price or finish the content that earns it.

Q.

Where do I store aircraft, boats, and military vehicles?

Ordinary cars and bikes go in garages, the MC clubhouse, or the Arena Workshop. Aircraft belong in hangars, boats in docks or the Kosatka, and military hardware in bunkers, facilities, or hangars. Pegasus vehicles are not stored at all; you call them in each time. Check the storage and delivery rows before buying.

Q.

Can I sell a vehicle I bought?

Purchased high-end vehicles can be sold at Los Santos Customs or the LS Car Meet, but resale is capped with diminishing returns when you sell repeatedly in the same week. Pegasus, service, and special vehicles cannot be sold for value. The sell row on each entry states which rule applies to it.

Q.

Where do I modify vehicles, and what are HSW upgrades?

Most road vehicles take paint, armor, and performance parts at Los Santos Customs. Specialist builds split off to Benny's, the LS Car Meet, the Arena Workshop, or hangar, bunker, and facility workshops. HSW performance upgrades appear only on supported platforms and only for the vehicles that carry the option, so check the mods and features rows per car.

Q.

Why can some vehicles not be used in races?

Because races restrict armed, oversized, and special-purpose builds. Most street classes race freely, some military and arena builds are limited to transform races, and trains, trailers, and service machinery stay out. The race row on each vehicle gives the verdict.

Q.

Why is this count higher than some GTA Online vehicle databases?

The roster includes named trains, trailers, service and ambient models from the GTA Online vehicle image index. Databases focused on player-usable vehicles have a narrower count. Check each row’s acquisition and storage fields before planning a purchase.
