DONT SPLASH is a horror obby on Roblox set in flooded poolrooms. A blind monster hunts by sound, so every splash can give away your position. The DONT SPLASH upgrades are permanent boosts bought in the lobby with Coins, and they make your throws, rescues, and gear work better. Knowing how they unlock and which ones to get first helps you spend your Coins well.

What DONT SPLASH Upgrades Do
Each upgrade works on something you already use in a run. Some make your throws fly farther or make each pebble create more splashes. That matters because the monster hunts by sound, so these upgrades give you more say over where it goes.
The rest help with other parts of a run. Rescue Speed shortens how long a teammate takes to get revived, while the gear upgrades stretch how far or how long your items keep working. Each one improves a specific part of your run, so the right pick depends on how you play.
How to Unlock and Buy DONT SPLASH Upgrades
You buy upgrades at the Upgrades stall in the lobby, using the Coins you earn from runs. Each line buys levels in order, so you can't skip ahead to a higher one. Levels are permanent once bought, and each line stops at its top level.
Some upgrades need a gear item first. Toy Battery needs the Wind-up Toy, Flare Radius needs the Flare, and Rope Reach needs the Rescue Rope. You unlock those items at the Equipment stall, and once an item is unlocked, its upgrade line opens. Throwing Range, Pebble Skipping, and Rescue Speed have no such requirement, so you can start on them right away.
Which DONT SPLASH Upgrades to Get First
When you play alone, Throwing Range and Pebble Skipping come first. They give you the most direct control over where the monster goes, since sound is how it finds you.
With a team, the order shifts toward reviving. Rescue Rope comes first, then Rescue Speed, then Rope Reach, because revives fail more often without the rope.
FAQ
Does Throwing Range also work on bottles?
Yes. It makes bottles travel farther as well as pebbles, so you get the same boost with either throwable.
Does Flare Radius make the stun last longer?
No. The upgrade only changes how far a flare reaches, and the stun time stays the same.
Can I buy upgrades with Robux?
Regular upgrade levels are bought with Coins. Separate Max upgrade passes permanently set their matching upgrade to its top level.
