All 53 Challenges and Enemy Bio Unlocks in Dicey Dungeons

Updated on November 1, 2026 (3 days ago)

Dicey Dungeons is a dice game where you roll and assign dice to attack, defend and use items as you fight through six floors. A defeat sends you back to the start of your run, and no two runs quite play out the same. Challenges are extra goals you can work toward along the way, and finishing one unlocks an enemy bio. You can tick each one off as you collect them in the game and keep track of what's left.

What Are Dicey Dungeons Challenges?

Some challenges are about finishing episodes, while others ask for one big moment, like a huge hit or a rare roll. On Steam and Xbox they appear as achievements, and on PlayStation 4 and 5 they're trophies. Either way, they push you to try the whole game, from every character to its harder modes.

How to Complete Dicey Dungeons Challenges

Most challenges fall into one of two types. Some count how many episodes you've finished, from a single episode up to whole sets, so every episode you clear moves you closer. Others ask for one specific thing, like a certain hit or status effect, and you have to pull it off within a single turn, attack or run, so some take several runs to land.

Dicey Dungeons Episode Challenges

Episodes are the main runs, and each character has six of them. Every episode comes with its own rules, so each one changes how you play.

They open in order, so early on you can only play the first few, and clearing them unlocks the rest. The episode challenges ask you to finish runs with five different characters, to finish 6, 9 or 12 episodes in total, and to clear all six episodes for a single character. A separate group asks for one named episode per character, such as the Warrior's Curse of Greed or the Thief's Finders Keepers.

Elimination Round and Parallel Universe Challenges

Elimination Round and Parallel Universe are two extra sets of episodes, and each character has one of each. In an Elimination Round, enemies get extra health and all of their equipment is upgraded. A Parallel Universe swaps every piece of your equipment for new, more complex versions, changes how status effects work and gives enemies extra health. Each set's challenges climb from one episode up to all six, so the top one means finishing every episode in that set.

Bonus Round and Hard Mode Challenges

Bonus Round is each character's sixth and last episode. It starts with the standard rules, then adds a new rule every time you go down a floor, and you choose which one to take. One challenge asks you to finish all six of them.

The other six belong to Hard Mode. Once you finish a character's Bonus Round, it offers a third choice of starting equipment, and taking it upgrades all enemy equipment for the whole run. These challenges climb from one Bonus Round on Hard Mode up to all six, and only Hard Mode wins count, so a normal win doesn't tick them off.

Dicey Dungeons Feats Explained

Most feats are built around a single moment or a specific setup, rather than a count of episodes. Some ask for one big turn, like inflicting five or more Burn, Freeze or Shock in a single turn, or dealing a lot of damage in one turn or attack. Others ask for a particular effect, such as locking every enemy die, using the same gadget three times in one turn, or reaching 64 max health.

Some of them depend on luck, such as rolling ten 1s in a row. Others need a certain character or setup: Four Prepared Slots only counts as the Witch, and Furry Dice means turning yourself into a bear with an enemy's potion.

Hardest Dicey Dungeons Challenges

Three challenges stand out as the hardest, and each is worth 90 or more gamerscore on Xbox. Complete all 36 regular episodes means clearing all six episodes for every character, which makes it the longest grind of the lot. Hard Mode Bonus Round 6 asks you to beat all six Bonus Rounds on Hard Mode. Defeat Lady Luck is the final fight, and reaching her means unlocking Backstage first.

FAQ

Q.

How do I unlock Hard Mode in Dicey Dungeons?

Finish a character's Bonus Round episode once. After that, the episode offers a third choice of starting equipment, and picking it upgrades all enemy equipment for the whole run. Each character's Hard Mode unlocks separately.

Q.

What do I need to fight Lady Luck?

Lady Luck waits in Backstage, the final episode. Backstage opens once you've won all six Bonus Round episodes, and you start it by picking the seventh icon on the character select screen. You don't need all 36 regular episodes first.

Q.

How do I get Furry Dice in Dicey Dungeons?

The Alchemist carries a Bear Potion, and using it turns you into a bear for the rest of the episode. You can't buy or find it, so you have to take it from her: steal it as the Thief, use the Inventor's Steal or Reversal gadgets, or copy it with Curse? in a Parallel Universe episode.

Q.

Is there a platinum trophy in Dicey Dungeons?

Yes, on PlayStation. It's called Let the Good Times Roll, and you unlock it by earning every other trophy in the game. It sits outside the challenge list, and it doesn't come with an enemy bio.
