Ships are the navy in Conquer The World WW2 on Roblox. They sail the sea, fight enemy fleets and carry troops across the water so you can take land on the far shore. Ships can only move on sea tiles, and the types are transport ships, destroyers, battleships and submarines. Destroyers, battleships and submarines each beat one of the others, so matchups often decide who wins at sea.

How to Get Ships in Conquer The World WW2
Each ship comes in a Tier I and a Tier II version, and every ship needs a blueprint, which is the design it's built from. Blueprints come from research, but some nations also start the game with them, so check what your nation begins with. No nation starts with Tier II blueprints, though, so the stronger version of any ship has to be researched first.
Ship Types and Which Ones Matter Most
The ship types fill different roles, and they differ most in how tough they are, how hard they hit and what they cost. Battleships are the toughest and hit the hardest, but they also cost the most, so they're the ships to build when you can afford them. Destroyers and submarines are cheaper and much less sturdy, which makes them easier to lose in a fight.
Transport ships have a different job, carrying troops across the water. That job matters most when you plan an invasion by sea.
How Naval Invasions Work and Which Ships Carry Troops
An invasion by sea begins with loading troops onto a ship. Only transport ships and battleships can carry troops, and battleships can carry them at either tier. Transport Ship II carries more troops than Transport Ship I, so it's the better pick when you want to move more men in one trip.
Loading works one of two ways. You can move the ship right next to the troop, or you can dock the ship at a port city where the troop is and press Load. To drop the troop off, press Unload.
Ship Counter System and How to Build a Fleet
Destroyers, submarines and battleships form a counter loop. Destroyers are strong against submarines, submarines are strong against battleships, and battleships are strong against destroyers. Each type beats one of the others and loses to another, so no single ship wins against everything. The counter gives you an edge rather than a guarantee, though. Early destroyers hunt submarines well, but heavy battleships can still overpower them.
When you build a fleet, start by looking at what the enemy is fielding. If they lean on battleships, add submarines. If they lean on submarines, add destroyers. If they lean on destroyers, add battleships. A fleet made of one type is easy to counter, so mixing types keeps you covered.
The ship at the front of a fleet takes the most damage, so put your toughest ship there. Battleships are the natural choice to lead, since they have the most health. Keep submarines out of the front line for the same reason.
U-boat Fleet, Wolfpack and Other Naval Focuses
Each ideology has its own tree of focuses, and many of the naval ones target a single ship type, so they work best when they match the ships you build. Both submarine focuses belong to the Fascist tree. The U-boat fleet focus raises submarine attack and makes submarines cheaper to build, and Fascist nations reach it before wolfpack tactics. Wolfpack tactics makes submarines faster and gives them more attack, so the two work well together. High Seas Fleet speeds up ship production and boosts battleship attack.
Democracy has its own naval focuses, and most of them help warships as a whole. Cracking the Enigma boosts warship attack. Home Fleet speeds up warship production and makes warships cheaper to build, but it needs another focus first. ASDIC Sonar and Radar Tactics boosts destroyer attack and makes destroyers cheaper to build. Naval Supremacy makes warships faster and adds to their attack.
Communism has a naval line too. Red Fleet makes battleships cheaper to build but slows ship production, so it's a trade-off. Fire and Maneuver improves battleship attack and speed. Naval Superpower makes your warships faster and raises their attack.
FAQ
Which ship should lead a fleet?
Put the toughest ship you have at the front, since the lead ship takes the most damage in a fight. Battleships usually fill that spot. To change the order, take a ship out of port and dock it again, which sends it to the back of the fleet.
How do you repair damaged ships?
Damaged ships heal while they're docked at a port. After a rough fight, bring the ship into a port city and leave it there until it has healed. Sending a battered ship back out is risky, so the wait is usually worth it.
Can ships attack troops on land?
Ships can attack troops on land, but only when those troops are on a coastal tile, not inland. A fleet can't move while it's attacking, so choose its position before you open fire.
Do you start the game with ships?
Some nations do. They begin with ships already built and waiting in their ports, so you can use them right away instead of building a navy from scratch. Nations without starting ships have to build their first fleet, so check your starting ports when you begin to see what you have.
