Break an egg, grab the animal that hatches, and get it past the guards to your base. A placed animal earns cash. That cash buys a stronger pickaxe and a trail that multiplies your speed.
The field is shared, and a server holds 7 players. A treadmill builds your base speed. A trail multiplies that speed only after you equip it. Speed upgrades were removed and replaced by trails. A better pickaxe is what breaks tougher eggs, and the Index tracks the animals you have collected.

Pickaxes:
Pickaxes are the tools you buy to break tougher eggs. Each one has a cash cost and a power value, from the free Wooden starter up to Celestial at 25B power. A higher power step is what opens sturdier eggs and the rarer animals you place at your base.
Trails:
Trails are cash speed multipliers, and they replaced the old speed upgrades. Buy one, then equip it from the Trail menu or the boost never turns on. White starts at 2x for $500, and Moonlight ends at a 10k boost. The multiplier sits on top of treadmill speed, so a strong trail on a low base is still slow.
Break and Steal an Egg Gameplay Tips
- Equip a trail after you buy it. The boost stays off until the Trail menu shows it as equipped.
- Train on the treadmill. A high trail multiplier does not fix a low base speed.
- Buy the next pickaxe your cash can cover. Higher power is what reaches tougher eggs.
- Check the place name and the ILGames x Eggs creator before you join. Steal an Egg is a different game.
