Dreamcatchers hang from trees scattered across Red Dead Redemption 2's Story Mode map, and inspecting each one is the whole hunt. Chapter 2 opens them up in free roam. Find every tree, then follow the mark to the Ancient Arrowhead at Elysian Pool. Its perk makes bow stamina last twice as long.

The Heartlands and Bluewater Marsh
This is the biggest group. Some of these trees stand among others, so Eagle Eye and vibration matter most here. The Bluewater Marsh tree sits at the end of the group.
Scarlett Meadows
These trees are in Lemoyne, away from the New Hanover trees, so they're easy to forget if you only work through New Hanover.
Roanoke Ridge
Most of these trees sit around Annesburg. Several approach directions depend on which side of the road the tree is on, so read the direction before you turn.
Grizzlies West
The Dakota River tree has no landmark nearby. Follow the railway and road crossings in its direction instead of hunting for a sign.
Grizzlies East
Order is the number on each entry. The numbers run region by region, so they don't give you the fastest route. State is the map state where the tree sits, and region is the area inside that state.
How to spot Dreamcatcher trees in Red Dead Redemption 2
Get close and hold Triangle on PlayStation or Y on Xbox to inspect the tree. If you can't pick it out, click both sticks (L3 and R3) to turn on Eagle Eye, which marks the trees in yellow.
Groves are the trap. Some of these trees stand among others, and the one you want looks just like its neighbors. Turn on Eagle Eye before you walk in, and pay attention to controller vibration as you move through the trees, since it can help you find the right one.
How to get the Ancient Arrowhead
After the last tree, head to the waterfall behind Elysian Pool. The reward is inside a cave, and the steps are short:
- Open the weapon wheel and equip the lantern. It sits under the melee weapons, at the bottom right.
- Walk through the waterfall into the cave.
- Climb the rocks at the far end of the cave.
- Inspect the painting and take the Ancient Arrowhead.
The Ancient Arrowhead's perk makes bow stamina last twice as long.

Do Dreamcatchers count toward Total Completion?
Yes. The full set adds 2% to your Total Completion. Check your progress under Pause Menu, then Progress, then Total Completion, then Dreamcatchers.
Can I miss a Dreamcatcher?
No. None are missable, and you can find them in any order. A tree you skip will still be there when you come back.
Is the mark near Elysian Pool another tree?
No. Once you've found every Dreamcatcher, an extra mark appears near Elysian Pool. It points to the Ancient Arrowhead, not to another tree.
Are Dreamcatchers available in Red Dead Online?
