A pangram uses all seven letters at least once. Pangrams are worth chasing because they score more and often unlock the shape of the puzzle faster than small words. The full answer list depends on NYT's accepted dictionary for that day, so a real English word may still be rejected if it is outside the game's list.

A practical method is to build from prefixes, suffixes, plurals where accepted, and common letter pairs. Keep rotating the honeycomb mentally: the same letters can produce different words once you stop reading them in the displayed order.
