Expand verified recipes into materials and ordered batches. Deduct owned inventory and choose alternate recipes and ingredient options.
Owned inventory
Materials still needed
- oak log: 2
Inventory left after crafting
None required.
Returned containers
None required.
Craft in this order
- oak planks: 2 batches at crafting table, producing 8.
- chest: 1 batch at crafting table, producing 1.
Inventory is shared across the whole calculation and each owned item is consumed once. Recipe outputs and returned containers become available for later steps. Choose alternate recipes and ingredient tags above. Items without a selected supported recipe count as materials to obtain. Furnace fuel, experience, smithing templates, and special component-dependent recipes require separate planning.
How to use this tool
Choose an output and quantity. Add materials you already own, then inspect the recipe choices, remaining materials, ordered steps, and leftovers. Select alternate recipes or ingredient choices where the recipe allows them.
Batch quantities and leftovers
Recipes can produce more than one item. The planner rounds the number of crafting batches up, keeps extra output in inventory, and lets later steps use it. Owned inventory is shared across the whole calculation. Entering the same material twice adds those quantities before planning; it does not create a second copy of the items. Returned containers also become available for subsequent steps.
Recipe and edition boundaries
The planner supports the selected edition's listed crafting, stonecutting, and processing recipes. The quantities follow each recipe. Ingredient choices use the selected edition's accepted materials. Choose a wood or stone type before expanding its recipe, especially when you already own some of that material. Component-dependent recipes, smithing transformations, and special dynamic recipes need separate handling and do not appear as supported targets.
Gathering and processing
Materials without an expanded recipe are things to obtain directly. The tool does not simulate mining drops, durability, crafting unlocks, furnace fuel, or experience. Cyclic conversions are checked so packing and unpacking material blocks cannot create resources. Read the selected station before following a step, and use the fuel calculator for processing jobs.
FAQ
Will it count my inventory twice?
No. One shared inventory tracks consumption, intermediate outputs, and leftovers.
Can I choose a different wood or recipe?
Choose a specific material where the selector lists one. Select an accepted ingredient for that step. The planner can then use your owned items or expand that material's recipe.
Does the total include furnace fuel?
No. Processing steps list the station and ingredients. Plan fuel separately.
Why does a material appear as something to gather?
There is no selected supported recipe for it in this edition's graph, or a conversion would create a cycle.
