How to Use a Crosshair ID in BloxStrike
BloxStrike keeps its custom crosshair option in the settings menu. The number goes into Crosshair Image after you change the style to Image.
- Join BloxStrike on Roblox.
- Enter a round and press N to open the settings menu.
- Find Crosshair Style and change it to Image.
- Choose a crosshair, copy its Decal asset ID, and paste only the digits into Crosshair Image.
- Return to the match and check that the new crosshair appears in the center of the screen.
If the image leaves you with no crosshair, switch back to a standard style or try a different Decal. A clear reticle is more useful than winning an argument with one invisible pixel.
Does BloxStrike Use a Decal ID or Image ID?
BloxStrike's documented custom crosshair flow uses the public Decal asset ID. That is the number shown on each result and the number you should copy.
Roblox may keep two linked numbers for one uploaded picture:
- The Decal ID identifies the public Decal page in Creator Store.
- The image ID, also called the texture ID, identifies the image linked behind that Decal.
Those numbers can be different. Even though the BloxStrike field is called Crosshair Image, the instructions start from a Roblox Decal page and tell you to copy its asset ID. Keep the linked texture ID as background metadata, not the default number you paste. Roblox gave one picture two numbers, but BloxStrike does not need both of them.

BloxStrike Crosshair Styles: Classic, Static, and Image
BloxStrike includes built-in classic and static crosshair options as well as the custom Image style. The built-in choices use the game's normal crosshair controls. Image style replaces that look with a Roblox Decal you choose.
Use Image when you want a dot, circle, cross, scope, colored reticle, or themed design from Creator Store. Check the preview before copying because many Roblox assets are simply named "crosshair." The picture is doing most of the useful talking there.
A custom image changes the crosshair's appearance. It does not reduce recoil, improve weapon accuracy, or copy a professional player's settings. Pick something you can see clearly against both bright and dark parts of a map. If an image is distracting or disappears, the built-in styles remain the dependable fallback.
Why a Custom Crosshair May Not Appear in BloxStrike
A correct-looking number can still produce a blank crosshair. Check these common causes:
- Crosshair Style is not set to Image. The custom number is only used by the Image style.
- The wrong Roblox number was copied. Paste the public Decal asset ID, not the linked texture ID or a full Roblox URL.
- The Decal was removed or restricted. Roblox or the uploader can moderate, privatize, or delete an image.
- The design is extremely small. Some BloxStrike players report that tiny crosshairs used in Counter Blox do not appear properly here.
- The pasted value contains spaces or extra text. Clear the field and paste only the digits.
- The asset is still loading. A slow connection or busy server can delay the image.
- BloxStrike does not display that asset. A public Roblox Decal is not a guarantee that every experience will show it.
Set the style to Image again, paste the ID once more, and test a second crosshair with a larger visible mark. Rejoin BloxStrike if several images fail at once. If one specific image stays blank, choose another instead of guessing at a different ID type.
How to Make Your Own BloxStrike Crosshair Image
You can upload your own crosshair as a Roblox Decal, then use its public asset ID in BloxStrike.
- Make a square image with a centered crosshair and a transparent background.
- Open the Roblox Creator Dashboard and upload the image as a Decal.
- Wait for Roblox to finish moderating the upload.
- Open the approved Decal in Creator Store.
- Use the three-dot menu to copy its asset ID.
- Set BloxStrike's Crosshair Style to Image and paste that ID into Crosshair Image.
Keep the mark large enough to remain visible in the game. Very small designs may be hard to see or may not appear as expected, so test the result before settling on it. Only upload artwork you created or have permission to share, since every Decal remains subject to Roblox moderation.
