The Hunt: Roblox 20's Jailbreak secret quest is separate from the normal five-target Jailbreak Hunt objective. It is also locked behind the event-wide progression: Roblox says you must finish all 20 main quests and unlock Year Infinity before the secret quests become available.
After the regular Jailbreak quest registers, this route takes you through a shotgun-only bomb sequence, a hidden wall, an obstacle course, and a separate hub claim for the Defective Despacito Spiders accessory. The event is scheduled to end on September 28, 2026, at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT), so check the official event FAQ if you are playing near the deadline.
Jailbreak Secret Quest Requirements in The Hunt: Roblox 20
Before you try to trigger the secret route, make sure these prerequisites are complete:
- Finish all 20 main Hunt quests and unlock Year Infinity. The regular Jailbreak quest counts as one of those main quests, so complete its five-target objective and confirm that it registers.
- Join the Police team and take a shotgun from the police armory. The event bombs only respond to the shotgun for this puzzle.
- Have a way to reach the bomb after it launches. A helicopter from the police-station helipad is convenient, but another vehicle can also reach the marked location.
The secret path will not replace unfinished event progress. If Year Infinity or the normal Jailbreak quest is incomplete, finish those first and then return with the shotgun equipped.
How to Trigger the Jailbreak Secret Quest Bombs
Go to the prison courtyard or park area near the Hunt event setup and trampoline. You will see three event bombs around the trampoline. Shoot them with the shotgun in this exact order:
- Shoot the bomb beside the orange flower.
- Shoot the bomb beside the green flower.
- Shoot the bomb underneath the billboard.
- Shoot the orange-flower bomb again.
The order matters, including the second shot at the first bomb. When the sequence works, the bombs rise and leave a visible white trail pointing toward the next part of the quest. If they stay in place, check the weapon and sequence before moving on.
Where to Find the Launched Bomb in Jailbreak
Use the helicopter from the police helipad or another practical vehicle to follow the white trail. A flashing marker identifies the landing point, so use that marker rather than relying on a specific terrain name. The area may look like a small crater beside a rock formation.
When you reach the marker, approach the event bomb and pick it up. You need to carry this recovered bomb back to the prison for the wall step.
How to Open Jailbreak's Secret Wall
Return to the prison facility with the recovered event bomb. Go to the old wall along the edge of the prison, near the spot where Guest 417 appeared during the regular Hunt route.
Place the event bomb directly against the wall and move away before it explodes. The recovered event bomb is required here; a normal explosive will not open the passage. A successful blast reveals the hidden entrance to the secret obby.
How to Complete the Jailbreak Secret Obby
Enter the passage and work through the obstacle course. The route includes green climbing platforms, red hazard-tile sections, narrow platforms, moving obstacles, and checkpoints or spawn points. Use the checkpoints as you progress so a failed jump does not send you back to the beginning.
At the end, step through the exit portal. Wait for the game-side Roblox 20 /// Secret Quest badge to register before leaving Jailbreak. Completing the obby and claiming the event UGC are separate steps, so do not assume the accessory has already been awarded when the badge appears.
How to Claim Defective Despacito Spiders and S12
After the Jailbreak badge appears, return to The Hunt: Roblox 20 hub. Go to the 2017 teleport cube and find the nearby reward podium.
Interact with the podium to claim the S12 reward and the Defective Despacito Spiders event-exclusive UGC head accessory. The game badge is awarded from the obby, while this podium interaction handles the hub-side reward.
Jailbreak Secret Quest Troubleshooting
The bombs do not launch
Equip the shotgun from the Police armory and repeat the four shots in order. The fourth shot must hit the orange-flower bomb again. The successful sequence makes the bombs rise and leaves a white trail; do not continue to the wall step until you see that signal.
The wall stays closed
Make sure you picked up the event bomb at the white-trail marker, then place that bomb tight against the old prison wall near Guest 417's regular-quest location. Regular explosives do not substitute for the recovered event bomb.
S12 or the UGC does not appear
First confirm that the Roblox 20 /// Secret Quest badge registered after you crossed the exit portal. Then return to the hub's 2017 podium and interact with it. If the hub reward is still missing after that badge is visible, rejoin The Hunt hub and try the podium interaction again.
