How to Fight Dr. Scramble's Mech in Steal an Egg
During the live event window, Dr. Scramble's Mech portal appears about every 30 minutes. Look for the visible portal labeled for the Mech and follow the in-game timer. Bring any bat to enter the fight. Stronger bats are reported to deal more damage, so use your best available bat when you can.
The fight has a reported 13,300 HP and three phases. The important part is what happens after the robot falls, because the exposed core and the final Dr. Scramble phase are part of the victory condition.
- Enter the portal with a bat. Join the Mech encounter when it appears and damage the robot through its phases.
- Watch for the exposed core. After the Mech is defeated, the core targets one player. That player should lead it toward the small blue tower or pylon until the core is immobilized.
- Attack the immobilized core. Once it is stuck by the tower, attack the core while the group has the opening.
- Follow Dr. Scramble. After the core sequence, follow the doctor and land three hits to finish the encounter.
Do not stop when the Mech's body disappears. The targeted-core step is the bridge between the robot fight and the final three hits, and completing the whole sequence is what awards the boss rewards.
Steal an Egg Dr. Scramble Boss Mastery Rewards
Every victory gives you Samples and one Boss Mastery point. Samples are the spendable event currency, while Boss Mastery tracks your completed victories, so the two rewards serve different purposes.

How Dr. Scramble's Lab Works in Steal an Egg
Dr. Scramble's Lab is in the lobby beside the Shop. It replaces the old Rift trade-in altar or machine and changes the input from hatched pets to three specific eggs. The requested eggs are controlled by the selected banner and its countdown, so there is no permanent three-egg recipe to memorize.
The Lab screen shows these banner pools and displayed chances:

Use the Lab in this order:

- Submit the three eggs directly. You do not need to hatch them and return the resulting pets first.
- Claim the experimental pet and check pity. The submission returns an experimental-pet result and advances the pity counter.
The Lab has a 100-point pity bar, and reaching pity guarantees the banner's top reward instead of a random reward from the top three. The displayed UI also shows two free rerolls. If the current request is a poor fit for the eggs you have, check the reroll option before submitting, then re-read the new request rather than relying on an older screenshot.
Extinction Egg in Steal an Egg: Price and Skeletal Rerolls
The Extinction Egg is in the Shop's Featured section and is separate from the free Lab and Mech progression. You need Robux to buy a bundle, and there is no boss victory or Lab submission step attached to the purchase.
