Steal An Egg Update 4, also called the Angels VS Demons update, added a new late-game biome on September 12, 2026. The area has a reported 20 billion Speed floor, and its active form decides whether you can farm Angel Eggs, Demon Eggs, or both at once.
That makes the update more than a new destination: arriving at the wrong side means farming the wrong eight-animal pool, while reaching the zone with only the entry-floor Speed can still cost you the egg on the way home. This guide covers the route to the biome, the Light and Darkness split, the complete 16-animal roster, and the full steal-to-hatch loop. If the area is missing from your server, rejoin and check the current in-game content state; the official event listing window by itself does not prove that Update 4 content was removed.
How to Reach the Angels and Demons Biome in Steal An Egg
Train to at least 20 billion Speed before you make the trip. The Angels and Demons area is reported to be the furthest zone on the map, beyond Titan Temple, and the same 20B floor applies to the Angels, Demons, and Merged forms. You do not need a named quest, NPC payment, or crafting item to start this route.
Treat 20 billion as an entry and attempt floor, not a guarantee that every egg run will be safe. The egg has to travel back to your base, and a guardian can catch you while you are carrying it. Build extra Speed before you risk a valuable run, then use the Steal An Egg Speed guide for broader treadmill, Coil, and Trail progression.
How Angels and Demons Biome Variants Work in Steal An Egg
The biome changes after the in-game night or cycle, so the side you find is not fixed. Angels is the Light form and contains Angel Eggs, while Demons is the Darkness form and contains Demon Eggs. The rare Merged form exposes both egg types in one window and grants extra luck while it is active.
Use the active form as your farming plan for that server: first identify the side, then choose the matching egg. There is no stable cycle timer or appearance probability to plan around, so check the biome in-game instead of waiting for a published countdown.
| Active form | Egg to farm | Animal pool |
|---|---|---|
| Angels | Angel Egg | Light animals |
| Demons | Demon Egg | Darkness animals |
| Merged | Angel Eggs and Demon Eggs | Both rosters |

How to Farm New Animals in Steal An Egg Update 4
Reaching the new biome is only the start. To turn the trip into a pet, make each run in this order:
- Check the active side. Decide whether the biome is Angels, Demons, or Merged, then compare the available pool with the animals you still need.
- Steal the matching egg. Before you grab it, leave an open pen slot so you can place the egg when you return. Take an Angel Egg from the Light side or a Demon Egg from the Darkness side. In a Merged biome, you can choose either type.
- Carry it back to your base. The return is the dangerous part of the route. Keep enough Speed margin to avoid being caught by the guardian while the egg is in your hands.

- Put the egg in your pen. Once you return safely, place it in the base pen and let it grow.
- Open the finished egg. Check the Growing Eggs panel and select Open when the egg is ready. The hatch resolves into one of the animals from that egg's active pool.

Repeat the route when the other form appears. If a Merged biome shows up, it is the most useful supported window for working on both rosters because both egg pools are available and the form has extra luck. That bonus improves the opportunity, but it does not guarantee a specific animal or rarity.
All 16 New Animals in Steal An Egg Update 4
Update 4 adds eight Darkness animals from Demon Eggs and eight Light animals from Angel Eggs. Use the table to decide which side to revisit when an entry is missing. The rarities below are the reported ladder for the update; exact hatch odds, egg prices, and pet income are not established here.
| Rarity | Demon Egg: Darkness animal | Angel Egg: Light animal |
|---|---|---|
| Legendary | Flame Sprite | Light Dove |
| Mythic | Toro | Winged Lamb |
| Cosmic | Imp | Sacred Moth |
| Cosmic | Demon Hound | Holy Peacock |
| Secret | Gargoyle | Pure Jellyfish |
| Secret | RazorFang | Centaur |
| Eternal | Skeleton Horse | Pegasus |
| Divine | World Burner | ArchAngel |
World Burner is the Divine animal on the Demon Egg side, and ArchAngel is the Divine animal on the Angel Egg side. They are the reported headliners for their respective pools, not a guarantee that either is the best pet in the entire game. If you are chasing a particular entry, wait for its side or use a Merged window rather than spending runs on the opposite egg.
Steal An Egg Update 4 Extras That Help You Farm
The update also adds a higher Treadmill tier and a new Trail tier. Moonbloom Trail is reported as the latest Trail Shop entry, so these additions are relevant while you build the Speed margin needed for a reliable return. Check the in-game shop for the current prices and multipliers of the new Treadmill and Trail tiers.
A new Base Upgrade lets you equip one additional pet. It is a useful capacity upgrade for your growing collection, but it is not required to enter the Angels and Demons biome.
The Monster Egg was replaced by the Luminous Egg. It keeps the same general role while adding a rare chance to reroll into a luminous variant animal.
Once you can make the return trip consistently, prioritize a Merged window when it appears so one farming session can cover both sides. For the separate shrine route inside the new area, see the Steal An Egg Secret Fusion Shrine guide.
