+1 Drain Water Per Click starts with a simple loop: click to build Water, use it to drain a pool, collect Fish from the bottom, and turn the haul into progress. Learn that route first, then spend Cash on the upgrade that fixes your slowest step.
Every click gives Water. Larger Pools, Areas, and Lakes open up as you improve. Wins are a longer-term goal, while upgrades and Pets help you get there.
Start by training Water, then empty the pool
On PC, W/S/A/D moves, Spacebar jumps, E interacts, and the Left Mouse Button trains Water.

Follow the first run in this order:
- Train Water. Click until you have enough Water to make the current pool worth visiting.
- Go to the pool. Follow the open route from the starting area and use the pool you can reach.
- Drain it fully. Use your Water on the pool until it is empty. A half-finished pool is progress left sitting on the floor.
- Reach the bottom. Fish appear when the pool is emptied, so move down and collect the catch.
- Return when needed. If your backpack is full or you want Cash, return through the Shop or Hub area and sell the Fish.

The best early habit is finishing one pool before chasing a different menu. It keeps your Cash moving and shows whether your real problem is Water gain, drain speed, travel, or backpack room.
Turn Fish into Cash and fix the next bottleneck
Fish can be sold for Cash. A valuable catch can also go into an aquarium for income over time, so you have a choice: sell when Cash or backpack room helps the next run, or keep a good catch for the display route.
Spend Cash on the step that is slowing you down. Pumps can help you drain faster. Backpack upgrades let you stay out longer. Walk speed cuts down on trips. Display-stand space helps if you are building an aquarium. Read the visible effect on each purchase and choose the one that improves your next pool.
Pets come from Pet Eggs and give Water boosts while equipped. Compare the displayed Pet bonus with the Pump or upgrade that you are considering. A Pet is useful when its bonus helps the next route, but it should not distract you from a purchase that fixes a full backpack or a slow drain.
When you start finding unusual Fish, the mutations guide for +1 Drain Water Per Click covers that separate collection system.
Move toward bigger pools and planned Rebirths
Use each upgrade to reach the next pool more comfortably. Bigger Pools, Areas, and Lakes are part of the game's progression, so improve the bottleneck you can see instead of spreading Cash across every button.
Training pads can automate Water training. Treat them as an in-game convenience feature and check the live prompt before relying on one for a long session.
Rebirth is a reset with a permanent progression benefit. The Rebirth panel shows what you will receive, and the reset includes your Water, so read that panel before confirming. Wait until the current run feels inefficient and the displayed reward clearly improves the next one.

Do not plan around a remembered cost, threshold, or multiplier. Those values belong to the live menu and can change. Check the panel, make sure the reset helps your next route, then return to training and drain the next pool.
