Rebirth in Merge a Mini Army is a soft reset. You trade your current army and Cash for a higher Cash multiplier and access to higher merge tiers. Press Rebirth when the Index gate is met and the climb feels stuck. Hold off if you still have camps to capture or a late vanity merge almost finished. The wipe will not wait for you.
Open Rebirth and hit these Index requirements
Open the Rebirth control on the left side of the HUD. The menu shows the Index troop gate, what you unlock next, and a reset warning before you confirm.
As of this writing, two Rebirth levels are commonly reported. The ladder can move with weekly updates, so trust the live menu over any fixed snapshot.

Rebirth 1 unlocks once you merge your way to Supersonic Jet, the 22nd troop on the Index. The reported reward is a +100% Cash multiplier plus merge access through the mid Elite ladder (on public unit lists: Elite Rifle through Elite Tank at those level labels).
Rebirth 2 asks for the 27th Index troop. On the WIP units list, Elite Tank sits in that slot, but the live Rebirth menu is the label to trust if the wording differs. The reported reward is a +200% Cash multiplier and unlock tiers from 134M through 2.14B. Public lists still leave those billion-tier unit names unfinished, so do not hunt invented roster names for them.
How the two multipliers combine is not published cleanly. Treat each line as what that Rebirth step claims, not a homemade stacking formula.
What you lose: units and Cash reset when you confirm. Reports also say upgrades wipe, so plan to rebuy Spawn Tier and your other Cash upgrades after. What happens to game passes is not spelled out publicly. Read the menu warning before you click.
Tier 2.14B is reported as the highest unlock band right now. That end of the Index is still incomplete in public unit lists, so treat "highest" as current reporting, not a permanent ceiling.
Prep Spawn Tier, squeeze camps, then reset
Reaching the gate is mostly merge math. Smart Cash spend shortens the grind, and using the army before the wipe extracts income you would otherwise throw away.
- Buy Spawn Tier first. Higher auto-spawns mean fewer merges to climb toward Supersonic Jet (and later the 27th Index slot). This is the main prep upgrade before a Rebirth push.
- Fix pad or deploy jams next. Raise Base Capacity when the pad is full and merges have no room. Raise Max Deployed when captures stall because too few troops leave base.
- Squeeze camps while the army still exists. Send your current best troops (Supersonic Jet on the first gate is the usual hammer) to capture and hold garrisons, compounds, and airfields for Cash. Do that before you open Rebirth and confirm.
- Confirm only when the menu requirement is met. Read the gate line one more time. If you are mid-merge on a late vanity unit you almost finished, finish it or accept losing it.
- Rebuild after the wipe. Rebuy Spawn Tier first, re-merge from early spawns with the stronger Cash curve, then recapture camps. Your old deploy is gone. The multiplier is the point of the reset.
Aim for Rebirth 2 only after the first reset has paid off and the menu shows the next Index gate. Climb through the Elite-line tiers you unlocked first. Do not press both resets back to back for sport.
