Lineage Piece only has two Haki types right now: Observation and Armament (also labeled Buso or Bosu in the world). You can unlock both. Conqueror's Haki is not in the game yet.
Observation stacks free dodges that fully block hits while charges remain. Armament adds a clean +25% damage while it is active. If you need a fuller server for the boss grind, check the Lineage Piece live stats page before you hop in.
Unlock Observation Haki on Deeproot Jungle
Travel to Deeproot Jungle (still called Jungle Island by many players). The Observation Haki NPC stands at the wooden bridge near the center of the island, at one end of the bridge.
The level gate is listed differently depending on who you ask: Level 500+, Level 800+, or Level 1,500+. Read the requirement on the NPC prompt in your client and treat that as the real gate.
The hand-in money cost is clear: 2.5 million Yen (shown as coins or money on some UIs).
Steps to unlock Observation Haki
- Talk to the Observation Haki NPC on the wooden bridge and accept the quest once your level qualifies.
- Defeat 40 world bosses. Any world boss counts toward the total.
- Farm them at Legend's Arena for a short loop. Use the Boss Summon NPC on the left side. Verdant Hero (Deku) summons often cost 1 Summon Core + 250 Gems.
- Return to the NPC after 40 bosses. Your next objective is lighting five torches across the map.
- Light all five torches listed below. Torches stay inactive until this quest step is active.
- Collect the Observation Haki Book the quest grants. It is untradeable and quest-only.
- Hand in the book plus 2.5 million Yen at the same NPC to unlock Observation Haki.
Observation commonly grants about 10 dodges that fully negate hits while charges last. If your UI shows a different dodge cap after unlock, trust the client.
All 5 torch locations for Observation Haki
Light each torch with the in-game prompt once the torch step is active. The set spans five islands, so plan a short travel loop the same way you would for Orihime's Reiatsu locations or the five Talisman spots.
- Deeproot Jungle. From spawn, cross the wooden bridge. The torch sits on a tree trunk on the left side of the bridge.
- Frostborn Island. Move toward the Quest Level 601-800 NPC area. Look for the torch on a tree behind a street lamp.
- Legend's Arena. Check the right corner near the Saber NPC. The torch is on the outside of the rightmost of three pillars along the stone path.
- Fossil Island. Head toward the Sung Jinwoo boss area, then cut right to the Muzan NPC. The torch is on the tree trunk beside Muzan.
- Scorched Ruins. From spawn, take the left path along the red cliff. Light the torch on the leftmost tree on that route.
Unlock Armament Haki on Frostborn Island
Armament unlocks on Frostborn Island, the snowy band many players visit in the mid-to-late 600s through about level 1000.
Talk to the Buso Haki (or Bosu Haki) NPC on the wooden tower platform. Hand in 1x Haki Book plus gems to unlock Armament.
That book is the Armament Haki Book, not the Observation quest book. It drops at 0.1% from any mob or boss. Players can often trade this book if someone else already has a spare.
Gem cost is listed as 1,000 Gems in some places and 1,250 Gems in others. Pay whatever the Buso NPC UI asks for on your account.
While Armament is active, you gain +25% damage. Your first aura color is random. Color is cosmetic only. Haki Color Rerolls change the look. You can pull them from Rare+ chests, and combat drops can also spit one out (around 4% from mobs and bosses).
Gems for the hand-in come from bosses, chests, quests, and redeemable codes. Grab a fresh codes list when you need more currency rather than banking on old ones.
