The Grow a Garden stage in The Hunt: Roblox 20 has three separate checkpoints, which is why getting 50-fruit progress or the Chilli Mango Seed does not immediately give you the avatar reward. You must submit 50 event fruits, grow the Chilli Mango tree until you earn Timeless Roots, then return to The Hunt hub and claim the 2025 reward.
The Hunt runs from September 17 through September 28, 2026. Grow a Garden is the 2025 stop in the event's historical 2006–2025 route, so direct entry into the game can handle the game-side objective, but the hub is still required for the final claim.
How to Start the Grow a Garden Quest in The Hunt: Roblox 20
If you're progressing through the event years, open The Hunt: Roblox 20 hub and enter the 2025 Grow a Garden stage. You can also join the official Grow a Garden experience directly to complete the fruit and crop objectives. Use the same Roblox account for both parts of the route.
There is no supported currency or inventory prerequisite for this quest. You need the event fruit supplied in Owl's special Hunt area and one open garden plot for the Chilli Mango Seed. The event fruit is separate from your normal garden harvest, and the regular Seed Shop or other Owl events do not replace this objective.
If you want the historical progression to count, complete the game-side task and then return to the hub to claim the 2025 reward. Year Infinity opens only after all 20 historical years and their reward claims are complete, so a locked Year Infinity screen is not automatically a sign that you need to repeat this fruit run.
Where to Find Owl's Base and Sam in Grow a Garden
After you load into Grow a Garden, follow the red event arrows to the special Hunt area. They are the best navigation aid because the route is easier to follow in the live event area than written turn-by-turn directions.
Owl's base is on one side of the event area, where the event fruit appears. Sam is across the area near the shop and garden-slot side, where you turn in the fruit. Walk toward the arrows until you can identify both spots, then use the same route between them for each delivery.
How to Steal and Deliver 50 Fruits in Grow a Garden
The central objective is to steal and submit 50 event fruits from Owl's base. The complete loop is:
- Go to Owl's base. Follow the red arrows into the special Hunt garden rather than harvesting ordinary fruit from your own plot.
- Collect the event fruit. Move close to an available fruit and use its individual Collect prompt. A normal rapid or multi-harvest control may not register this event interaction, so use the individual prompt instead.
- Carry a manageable batch back. Multiple fruits can be carried on one trip, but carrying too many slows you down. There is no verified maximum capacity, so use a batch you can move with comfortably instead of trying to fill an unknown limit.
- Leave Owl's base promptly. The Owl can chase and hit you on the return route. The exact penalty to a carried batch is not established, so the safest approach is to keep moving toward Sam and avoid lingering with a large load.
- Submit the fruit to Sam. Interact with Sam when you reach the delivery side of the area. Check that the Hunt counter increases before starting the next run.
- Repeat until the counter reaches 50. Only the registered submissions count toward the objective, so use the counter as your completion check rather than assuming a fruit was accepted.
The multi-fruit approach makes the trip shorter, but it is not worth moving so slowly that the Owl catches you or that a delivery fails to register. If your character becomes difficult to control, take a smaller batch.
What You Get After 50 Fruit Deliveries: Chilli Mango Seed
When the Hunt counter reaches 50, the game-side reward is the Chilli Mango Seed. This is an intermediate progression item, not the Grown From a Garden avatar UGC. Check your inventory for the seed before you leave the experience.
Equip the Chilli Mango Seed and plant it in an available plot in your own Grow a Garden base. If you need a refresher on the normal planting loop, the Grow a Garden wiki and beginner's guide cover the game's basic garden controls.
How to Grow Chilli Mango and Earn the Timeless Roots Badge
The quest is not finished when the seed appears. Plant it in an open plot and wait for the Chilli Mango tree to become fully grown. The exact growth duration is not established, so use the tree's completed growth state and the badge as your confirmation instead of relying on an invented timer.
When the crop objective registers, you should receive the Timeless Roots badge. That badge is the useful checkpoint that tells you the Grow a Garden portion has progressed beyond the 50-fruit delivery.

Do not return to the Hunt hub immediately after planting if the tree is still growing. Wait for the full-growth state and Timeless Roots to appear first, because the hub claim is the final step of the chain.
How to Claim Grown From a Garden in The Hunt Hub
Once Timeless Roots is visible, return to The Hunt: Roblox 20 on the same Roblox account. Open the 2025 Grow a Garden stage and claim its reward. The avatar item is Grown From a Garden, a neck accessory, and it is separate from both the Chilli Mango Seed and the Timeless Roots badge.
After claiming it, check the 2025 stage in the hub again if your overall event progression does not update. If Year Infinity remains locked, inspect the earlier historical years for an unfinished quest or an unclaimed reward before repeating the Grow a Garden objective.
Grow a Garden Hunt Quest Troubleshooting
The 50-fruit counter is not moving
Make sure you collected the event fruit from Owl's base and delivered it to Sam. Ordinary garden fruit does not substitute for the special Hunt fruit. Submit a batch, wait for the counter to change, and then continue.
The fruit will not collect
Move close enough for the interaction to appear and use the individual Collect prompt on the fruit. The normal rapid-harvest control may not register this event interaction consistently. If the prompt is still missing after repositioning, rejoin the experience and try the event garden again.
I reached 50, but the Chilli Mango Seed is missing
Check your inventory first, then rejoin Grow a Garden before repeating any deliveries. The 50-fruit counter is the seed checkpoint, so repeating the route is unnecessary until you have confirmed that the counter truly registered 50 and the seed is not already in your inventory.
Timeless Roots has not appeared
Confirm that the Chilli Mango Seed was planted in an available plot and that the tree is fully grown. There is no supported exact timer to use as a cutoff. If the crop is still growing, wait for completion rather than restarting the fruit objective.
I have Timeless Roots but not Grown From a Garden
The avatar item is claimed in The Hunt hub, not in the Grow a Garden plot. Return to the 2025 stage on the same account and complete the reward claim. If it still does not appear, check whether an earlier historical stage or hub reward is blocking the event's overall progression.
Use the last visible checkpoint to decide what to do next: a Chilli Mango Seed means you still need the full tree and Timeless Roots, while Timeless Roots means it is time to return to the hub for Grown From a Garden.
