The Autumn Egg is a Fall Market Part 2 item in Grow a Garden, so it is separate from the older Fall Egg. During the limited event, you can pursue it through Fall Activity Rewards or the timed acorn event. The same activity may be labeled Acorn Chaos or Acorn Storm, so use the name shown in your event panel. Once you obtain an Autumn Egg, it takes four hours to hatch into Scarf Dog, Skunk, Llama, or the rare Enfield.

How to Get the Autumn Egg in Grow a Garden
You have two routes during Fall Market Part 2:
- Complete Fall Activities to earn Fall Energy and work through the event reward track. The reward track lists Autumn Eggs at the 250, 350, and 500 Fall Energy positions.
- Join the timed acorn event when it starts, find the acorns that land across the map, and hit them with a shovel. The acorn's reward pool can include one or more Autumn Eggs depending on its type.
The first route fits a steady progression path, while the second depends on being in the game during the timed activity. Neither route should be confused with the older Fall Egg entry in the Grow a Garden egg catalog, which has a different pet pool and hatch information.
Fall Activity Rewards and Autumn Egg Energy Requirements
Fall Activities are the reward-track route. Each completed Fall Activity gives 20 Fall Energy. A reward becomes available at 50 Energy, and more rewards unlock as you continue earning points. The reward track lists an Autumn Egg at 250, 350, and 500 Fall Energy, so do not assume the milestones in between contain eggs.
To use this route, complete the available Fall Activities and keep checking the reward track as your Energy total rises. When you reach 250, 350, or 500 Energy, claim the reward shown at that position. After 500 Energy, an additional reward becomes available for every further 500 Energy, so check each new position instead of assuming it is another egg.
How the Timed Acorn Event Works in Grow a Garden
The timed acorn event occurs every 30 minutes, lasts five minutes, and drops five acorns across the map. When an acorn lands, approach it and hit it repeatedly with a shovel. Each shovel hit deals 1 damage; keep attacking until the acorn opens, then take the reward from its random pool.
Use these steps when the activity begins:
- Find a landed acorn somewhere on the map during the five-minute window.
- Approach it with a shovel equipped and hit the acorn.
- Continue hitting it until it opens.
- Take the reward it gives and repeat the process for other acorns before the activity ends.
These percentages describe the chance of each acorn type appearing, not a direct player-facing chance of receiving an egg from every acorn.

Silver and Gold Acorns are the types with multi-egg quantities, but each acorn still uses its respective random reward pool. Keep a shovel ready and check the map as soon as the timed window starts.
How Long Does the Grow a Garden Autumn Egg Take to Hatch?
An Autumn Egg takes four hours to hatch. Once you obtain one, wait for its normal hatch timer to finish. It then hatches into one of the four pets below.

The Autumn Egg has four possible pets. Scarf Dog is the most common, while Enfield is the rarest at 0.5%.

The Enfield's Everlasting Fall ability can affect other pets in your garden, but the listed mutation is a possible effect for high-level pets rather than a guaranteed result. If you prefer a progression route with listed Energy positions, keep completing Fall Activities. If you can return for the timed window, the acorn event is the route with multi-egg rewards from Silver and Gold Acorns.
