How Greedy Growers river seeds work
Seeds appear on the river belt at random. Each one sits in one of eight rarity tiers, from Common to Divine, and each tier has a fixed spawn chance. Common seeds like Oak and Pine show up often. Divine seeds like Diamond and Void are a 1-in-1,000 roll.
You pay with in-game cash when you grab a seed off the belt, then plant it on your personal plot. Greedy Growers runs one active plant cycle at a time on that plot, so every purchase locks your growing slot until you harvest or lose the tree to lightning.
There is no seed-luck stat or gear boost as of Update 1.2. River RNG is the whole story for now. When a Void Seed spawns, the server sends a screen alert so everyone knows the belt just served the rarest roll in the game.
During weather events, some belt spawns and planted seeds can pick up mutations. Mutated seeds grow into mutated plants and fruit that sell for more than their base versions. Weather names, stacking rules, and sell boosts live on the mutations page; the base roster in the next section is unchanged by those events.

As of Update 1.2, Greedy Growers has 20 seeds across eight rarities. Costs climb fast at the top: Mythic seeds cost billions, Secret seeds cost trillions, and Divine seeds hit quadrillion (Qi) territory. Spawn chances drop the same way.

Void Seed is the most expensive entry at $1.75Qi and shares the lowest spawn rate with Diamond Seed. Oak Seed is free starter stock and shows up as often as Pine Seed, but Pine costs $25.
Which seeds are worth buying when you see them
Early on, Oak Seed and Pine Seed carry most runs. Oak is free starter stock you can grab without touching your balance. Pine costs $25 and is cheap enough to buy whenever you have spare cash and an empty plot.
Do not buy every seed the river offers. If you are saving for Epic or Legendary tiers, skip Common and Rare spawns that would drain cash without moving you up. A Legendary seed at 1 in 120 is already a serious purchase at millions of dollars. Mythic and above are long-term goals, not impulse buys.
Harvest before lightning when you need safe cash. Letting a tree sit longer can mean bigger fruit, but lightning turns patience into a reset. After rebirth, keeping at least one mature tree for passive income still helps while you chase higher tiers.
When your balance can afford the next rarity band, prioritize that tier over down-tier duplicates. Weather events are the time to watch for mutated belt spawns, not a reason to panic-buy a Secret seed you cannot plant yet.
