The Astral Observatory in Fisch is a quest hub for a server-wide event system. You start with Astronomer Vega, help bring the telescope online, and use it to trigger an Astral Anomaly. When one is active, the server enters a temporary night state, players can receive passive effects, and fish can gain space mutations.
Start the telescope quest at Astronomer Vega

Enter the Observatory on the main platform and talk to Astronomer Vega. Vega starts the objectives connected to the telescope, so follow the quest tracker after each step instead of guessing which task comes next.
The opening objective is reported as catching five Battery Casings while fishing in the Mine Shaft. Check the live tracker before you start a long fishing run, since the exact handoff after that task is not clear enough to turn into one fixed route.
Once Vega's objectives are complete, the telescope becomes the gateway to Astral Anomalies. The Observatory is where you prepare and activate the system, while the event itself changes what happens across the server.
Power the telescope to trigger an Astral Anomaly
When the telescope is powered, it triggers a temporary Astral Anomaly for the whole server. The event creates a nighttime state even when normal server time is daytime, so the sudden dark sky is part of the mechanic.
The event has two useful effects. Players across the server can receive passive effects, and fish caught while the Anomaly is active can gain space mutations. The Observatory starts the event, but the fishing payoff happens during that temporary server state.
The five anomaly names associated with the system are:
- Celestial Congregation
- Abyssal Alignment
- Evershifting Eclipse
- Meteoric Outburst
- Lunar Eclipse
These names identify the event variants. Use the in-game event state for the effect instead of guessing from the name.
Finish Vega's telescope objectives before planning around astral catches. For another Fisch server event, follow the Wrath of Olympus guide, then use the Deep Rod guide when you are working toward related rod progression. The loop is simple: Vega opens the telescope, the telescope starts the Anomaly, and the Anomaly enables space-mutation fishing.
