Speed is the first stat to build in Climb for Animals Eggs. The rest of the game runs on one loop: climb the ladder, steal an egg, hatch it at your base and let the animal earn Cash. The game is free on Roblox, and Robux is optional. Here's the order to follow.
What to Do First in Climb for Animals Eggs
Finish the short in-game tutorial first. It walks you through the ladder, the zones, stealing eggs and hatching them at your base.
Train Speed on the Treadmill
The treadmill is your main Speed source. Each upgrade you buy with Cash or Robux raises the Speed you earn every second. Trails can multiply that Speed later, covered below.
Free Speed From the Group and the Index
Liking the game and joining its creator group gives you +10K Speed. Do both early.
The Index adds Speed too. Every new animal that hatches at your base gets registered there, and each one has an entry reward you can claim. Claiming those rewards adds Speed as well.
Do You Need More Speed or Stamina to Climb?
Both, and they do different jobs. Speed sets how far up the ladder you can reach. Stamina is the energy meter that drains while you climb. If it runs out before you reach your zone, the climb ends early.
Check both menus in game before a long climb. Trust the in-game menus over any Stamina number you've seen online.
How to Reach and Hatch Better Eggs
Higher zones hold rarer eggs, and rarer eggs hatch more valuable animals. Each egg run has three parts: the climb, the steal and the hatch.
- Climb the long ladder to the zone you want.
- Drop into the zone and steal an egg without getting caught by its guardian.
- Bring the egg back to your base and hatch it there.
The Index shows which animals belong to each zone, so check it before you go after a specific one.
Staying Ahead of the Guardians
Each zone has a guardian that chases you whenever you steal an egg from its zone. Extra Speed may help you get away from a quick guardian, but it doesn't guarantee an escape.
How Animals Earn Cash at Your Base
Once an egg hatches, place the animal at your base to earn Cash. Cash is the main in-game currency, and animals keep earning while you're offline, so your base pays out between sessions.
Spending Cash on Income and Space
Cash goes toward income upgrades and base expansion. Buy income upgrades when your animals earn too slowly, and expand when you're out of room for the animals you hatch.
Selling Animals When the Base Is Full
When your base has no room for a new animal, the Sell Shop turns any animal into Cash.
Trails and Mutations After Your First Eggs
Trails Multiply Your Speed
Buy and equip a Trail to multiply your Speed. You can pay with Robux or with Cash generated by your active animals. The best Speed multiplier listed is the Rainbow Trail, at 14x for $300T or 269 Robux. Prices and rankings change, so check the Trails Shop before you spend.
Mutations From the Mutate Machine and Server Events
There are two ways to get mutated animals, and they work differently.
| Route | What you do | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Mutate Machine | Submit three duplicates of one animal | One animal of that same kind with a mutation |
| Mutated eggs | Collect eggs that server events mutate, then hatch them at your base | Mutated animals from the hatch |
The Mutate Machine deletes the animals you submit, so only feed it duplicates you can spare. For example, three Golden Retrievers give you back one Golden Retriever with the Golden mutation.
What Rebirth Changes in Climb for Animals Eggs
Rebirth is optional, and you can skip it early. The game's own description says a Rebirth raises your Cash multiplier and lets you climb farther. The cost is all of your Speed.
The first Rebirth takes 10,000 Speed. Each one after that raises the Cash multiplier and the Speed you need to do it again.
Don't assume the free +10K group bonus covers that 10,000. Read the Rebirth menu before you confirm, because the exact Speed cost and reset are the details to check.
Rebirth is worth it once you're comfortable rebuilding Speed from scratch. Until then, keep training on the treadmill and bringing eggs home.
