Secret and Colossus Throws are rare results inside the normal river loop in +1 Stone Skipping. You do not craft either one or complete a special quest. Equip a throwable, stand in the river's Throw Zone, press Throw, let the result finish, and repeat.
The reported chance is 1 in 100 for a Secret Throw and 1 in 1,000 for a Colossus Throw. Neither result can be forced, but Admin Abuse is the best reported opportunity to hunt for a Colossus Throw.
Secret vs. Colossus Throws in +1 Stone Skipping
| Throw | Reported chance | Recognition clue | What it can do | Can you force it? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Secret Throw | 1 in 100, or 1% | A special launch cutscene, followed by an unusually long throw | Usually sends the object about three times as far as a normal throw and gives you more Wins | No. Any equipped throwable can trigger it |
| Colossus Throw | 1 in 1,000, or 0.1% | A golden giant blesses your avatar, a red aura appears, and the object becomes a large golden coin | Can carry the object across several zones and may open the next World | No. Admin Abuse raises the reported chance but does not guarantee it |
These are reported odds, not promises that the result will appear after a certain number of attempts. Making 100 Secret attempts or 1,000 Colossus attempts still may not produce the matching result.
How Secret Throws work in +1 Stone Skipping
A Secret Throw is checked when you launch the object, so the action is the same as an ordinary attempt. Stand in the Throw Zone, equip any throwable, use the Throw control, and wait for the result before starting the next throw. The reported chance is 1 in 100 per reported roll.
The special result can happen with any object. There is no supported item choice or player-controlled trick that raises the Secret chance, so use the throwable you already have equipped rather than spending resources on a supposed odds boost.
When a Secret Throw triggers, watch for its special cutscene and the object traveling past multiple river zones. The longer result can earn more Wins, which you can spend on Stones and pet eggs. A Secret Throw usually travels about three times as far as a normal throw, but that distance is not guaranteed.

How Colossus Throws work in +1 Stone Skipping
A Colossus Throw uses the same basic launch action, but the reported chance is much lower at 1 in 1,000. The result is easy to separate from a Secret Throw once the cutscene starts. A golden giant blesses your avatar, a red aura appears, and your thrown object changes into a large golden coin.
The coin then travels with enough force to cross several zones. It may reach the end of the river and trigger the cutscene that unlocks the next World, but the result is not guaranteed on any throw. Admin Abuse improves the reported chance, but it does not give you a way to force the outcome.

How to use Admin Abuse for Colossus attempts
Admin Abuse is a developer-run event that can improve your Colossus attempts. During the event, a golden giant appears in each World and raises the reported chance for every player in that server. It changes the chance, not the outcome.
When the golden giant appears, go to the main river's Throw Zone and run the ordinary loop:
- Equip a throwable.
- Use Throw and let the result finish.
- Press Throw again after each attempt.
Keep making normal throws while the event is active. The golden giant is the cue that the event modifier is in effect, but it does not turn every launch into a Colossus Throw. Do not rely on a fixed event schedule because Admin Abuse times can change.
If you are hunting a Secret Throw, the regular loop works at any time. If Colossus is the goal, use that same loop when a live Admin Abuse event and its golden giant give you the best reported opportunity.
