All 38 Foods, Rarities and Prices in Throw Food For Animals

Updated on October 30, 2026 (3 days ago)

Food is the bait in Throw Food For Animals on Roblox. You throw it as far as you can, and the food you pick decides which animals come to you. The animals you collect earn the money for your next food, and the foods climb through rarities from Common up to Cosmic. Knowing how that ladder works makes it much easier to decide what to buy next.

How Foods Work in Throw Food For Animals

You throw food toward the animals, and the food you pick decides which ones come to you. Better food attracts rarer animals, so buying better food is how your collection grows.

Food doesn't decide how far you can throw, though. That comes from Throw Power, which you build by training on the pull-up stand and by buying throw bars.

The Food Rarities From Common to Cosmic

The foods are sorted into Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Secret, Divine, Celestial, Eternal and Cosmic. The list runs from the easiest foods to reach at the start up to the rarest at the end, and each step up brings in rarer animals.

The jump in price is steep. Each rarity costs far more than the one before it, so the climb takes time, and you'll move up gradually as your income grows.

How to Get Food in Throw Food For Animals

You buy food in the Food Shop with in-game money. Your money comes from the animals you collect, but only once they're placed on your plot, so animals you haven't placed yet add nothing to your income.

Throw bars are bought with the same money, so food and throw bars compete for your budget. You can't always afford a food and a bar at the same time, which makes each purchase a real choice.

Which Food to Buy First and How to Choose

Throwing the Carrot is how you bring in your first animal, so start there. After that, look at three things before each new purchase: how far your throws reach, how much money you have, and which animals you're after.

A pricier food won't fix a short throw on its own, so train Throw Power first when your throws fall short. Buy a better food once your throws can reach the area where its animals live, and don't buy one just because it costs more.

FAQ

Q.

Is the Carrot free?

Yes. You start with it already equipped, and every food after it has to be bought.

Q.

Does a rarer food always bring in rarer animals?

Generally, yes, and that's the idea behind the rarity ladder. Treat it as a general pattern, though, since the animals you can catch still depend on how far your throws reach.

Q.

What is the rarest food in Throw Food For Animals?

Cosmic is the top rarity, and it holds Ghost Chowder, Calamari Rings and Phantom Lobster.
