Around 2 AM, a car pulls up outside the kiosk and the Inspection begins. Leave the kiosk right away through the back door, and stay out of sight until the Inspection is over. Only go back in once it's safe. The rule that matters most is not to look back at the kiosk or the Inspector, since turning around triggers the Erased Ending and ends the shift on the spot.
How to Plan Your Runs for All Endings
Because the Perfect Ending needs a clean shift from start to finish, it's easiest to aim for in a run of its own. Trying for other endings in the same run makes the Perfect harder, since the Smiling Man's parcel, the 2 AM Inspection, and route choices can all change how a night ends.
