Mysterious Murderers Wiki

Updated on (9 days ago)

Each round puts you on one side of a hidden hunt. The Murderer looks for chances to eliminate the other players, the Sheriff watches for proof and tries to stop the killer, and Innocents move carefully while they work out whom to trust.

Your role changes the plan from round to round: attack without giving yourself away, hold your shot until it is safe, or stay alive and share useful clues. When one side completes its goal, you return to the lobby and try a new role.

Roles:

Each round assigns players to the Murderer, Sheriff, or Innocent side, with the Murderer hunting and the Sheriff trying to stop them. The Murderer starts with a melee weapon, the Sheriff starts with a gun, and Innocents start unarmed. If the Sheriff falls or misfires, an Innocent can pick up the dropped gun and become Hero for that round, turning an observer into a defender at a risky moment.

Mysterious Murderers Gameplay Tips

  • Read your role before moving. As an Innocent, stay observant. As Sheriff, look for evidence before exposing yourself. As Murderer, keep a normal path until you have a safe, isolated approach.
  • Use cover as a route, not a permanent hiding place. Move through rooms, corners, and alternate exits so you are harder to trap or line up.
  • Sheriff: make each shot deliberate. Wait for a clear view of an attack or a strong trail, keep other players out of the line, and do not fire at a crowd because someone sounds suspicious.
  • Innocent: share actions and locations, not guesses. Say who left which room after a kill or where you saw a weapon, then keep enough distance from groups to escape if the suspect turns toward you.
