Your first minutes in My Avatar on Roblox are spent dressing up your character. You can pick pieces from the Roblox catalog and try them on your avatar at no cost, which lets you see how a piece looks before you commit to it. If you need ideas, you can also look through outfits other players have put together.
Points are the game's currency, shown as Pts, and they're what you spend to claim items. You can earn them by buying items in the game, which gives you Points back, by entering codes, or by signing up for Roblox Plus from inside the game. Since every claim takes Points, it pays to use every way of earning them.
The Point Store is where Points turn into items, and everything in it is free and limited. Each item is a UGC accessory or clothing piece with a set number of copies, and each account can claim it only once. When an item's supply runs out, it is gone for good, and new free items arrive when the game reaches like milestones. The goal is a wardrobe of looks you love, and everything you claim goes into your Roblox inventory, where you can use it in other Roblox games too.

Point Store Items:
Point Store items are free accessories in My Avatar that you claim with Points, the game's own currency. Points come from in-game purchases, codes, and signing up for Roblox Plus inside the game. Each item is a limited UGC piece that an account can claim once, and it goes into your Roblox inventory to wear in other games too. Once its copies run out, the item is gone for good.
My Avatar Gameplay Tips
- Build the whole look before you claim a piece. A single item can look great on its own and clash with the rest of your outfit, so test it alongside everything else on your character first.
- Claim the limited items you want while they are still available. Once an item's supply runs out, it stays gone, so waiting on a piece you like is a risk.
- Like the game when you enjoy it. Likes help the game reach its next milestone, and that milestone is what brings new free items for everyone.
- Type codes exactly as they are written. Codes are case-sensitive, so the wrong capital letters will make a working code fail. If one doesn't work, check the spelling and capitals before giving up on it.
- Start your Roblox Plus sign-up from inside the game. The Points bonus comes from signing up in My Avatar, so if you were already planning to subscribe, begin there so you don't miss it.
