P Switches can hide just off the racing line, beside a riverbank, railway, pipe or Yoshi's drive-thru. Find the landmark first, then look for the blue switch. Each one starts a Free Roam mission, from blue-coin runs and races to rail rides, wall rides and jumps to the goal. Finish one and it unlocks a sticker.

Start at a nearby course and follow the landmarks off the track. Some switches sit on a roof or ledge, so line up before you commit to a jump. A few spots hold more than one switch. The top floor of Shy Guy Bazaar's central building has a cluster, so one visit can cover several.
Reaching Peach Stadium's control tower
For the switch by Peach Stadium's control tower, turn around at the stadium start, stay left at the first jump, then grind the nearby rail.
Switches that need a Feather or a charge jump
In Dino Dino Jungle, the switch sits in the fenced grassy area to the right of the central dome. Use a Feather to hop the fence, or parkour out of the dome instead.
In Crown City, the switch at the end of the rails past the red bridge needs a charge jump. Start at Coin Coffer's Bank and accelerate east toward the red bridge. Charge-jump onto the first building's wall, ride its rails around the corner, then brake after the jump.
Avoiding Fuzzy hits on DK Pass
On the uphill train tracks past the Yoshi's drive-thru south of the lake by DK Pass, rewind may not save you after a Fuzzy hit. Trick just before the Fuzzies, or bring Green Shells.
FAQ
Can I fast travel to a switch?
Yes. After you've driven over a switch, it shows on the Free Roam map, and you can select it to travel to a spot nearby.
Are the SPECIAL tests of skill extra switches?
No. They're regular P Switches with their own prompts and locations. They aren't a separate mode, and they don't add switches on top of the rest.
