Vehicle missions in Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars turn a police car, ambulance, fire truck, or taxi into a short medal chain. Each system has its own vehicle, streets, and bronze target that matters for completion.

Vehicle missions
Four single player vehicle job systems. Each row keeps its own vehicle, streets, threshold, and reward so you can see what counts for the main route and what is just an extra.
What counts and what is optional
Only bronze is needed for the completion route. Silver and gold add perks like Bullet Shield, Marathon infinite sprint on DS and PSP, Flame Retard, and bulletproof Taxi Shield, but they are extras.
- Vigilante: Start from Police Patrol, NOOSE Enforcer, or FIB Rancher after Yu Jian. Five waves, and you need to drop at least 60 percent of criminals each wave for bronze.
- Paramedic: Start from Ambulance after Yu Jian. Five waves, with at least half the patients saved each wave for bronze. Gold Marathon on DS and PSP only is not on mobile.
- Firefighter: Start from Fire Truck at any fire station after Yu Jian. Three fires for bronze, and they do not need to be back to back. Six for silver, ten for gold.
- Taxi Driver: Start from any Cabbie after Yu Jian. Five consecutive fares without a fail for bronze, fifteen straight for gold.
Running them clean
Do these after Yu Jian when you can keep the start vehicle parked near its station. For Vigilante, pick open avenues so criminals do not hide behind traffic. For Paramedic and Taxi Driver, avoid high wanted levels that pull you into chases, and for Firefighter keep a station loop short so you return quickly.
FAQ
Which vehicle missions are required for 100 percent?
Vigilante, Paramedic, Firefighter, and Taxi Driver. Bronze on each counts, and they all unlock after Yu Jian.
Do I need gold medals?
No. Bronze is enough for the route. Gold only adds bonuses like Bullet Shield, Flame Retard, Taxi Shield, or Marathon on DS and PSP.
Why do thresholds differ?
The jobs test different skills. Vigilante and Paramedic use five waves with a percentage target, Firefighter uses three separate fires, and Taxi Driver uses five straight fares.
Does Paramedic work differently on mobile?
Yes. The Marathon infinite sprint gold reward is DS and PSP only. Bronze still counts the same on all releases.
Can I pause between Firefighter emergencies?
Yes. The three bronze emergencies do not need to be consecutive, so you can return to the station between fires.
