All 12 Maps in Fling Things and People

The whole server shares one island. You navigate by landmark names, not by menus: spawn on the Plains, climb the snowy mountain, cut through the train cave, or claim a house plot when you want grab protection. The cards below cover the outdoor biomes, the poison factory side, the quieter hideouts, and how building plots work.

Caves & secrets

4 items

Interiors and hideouts with less obvious doors. Entrances are easy to miss, and some routes link into each other, like Crystal Caves into Hollow Mountain. Good when you want AFK space, traps, or a maze away from the Plains crowd.

Hollow Mountain

The hollow interior of The Mountain with three documented entrances. Players use it to AFK, hide, or test away from the spawn crowd.

Type
Secret
Also known as
Inside of the Mountain
How to find
Three entrances: front of the mountain left of the Green House, upper Crystal Caves, and a smaller hole on the ocean-facing back of the mountain.
Best use
AFK space, quiet testing room, and hideout away from the Plains.
Notable features
Large hollow interior inside The Mountain. Glitch-origin but durable, with tight spots players use to trap others.
Access notes
Front entrance is the best known. Crystal Caves top is the second route. The ocean-side hole is smaller and least known.

Secret Area

A compact hideout entered near the farm UFOs. Players AFK here, build small bases, or block the only entrance with props.

Type
Secret
Also known as
Secret Cave
How to find
One entrance near the farm UFOs on the Enclosed Field side.
Best use
AFK hideout, small base, fights, or trapping runners.
Notable features
Small enclosed hideout that players cover or block with props such as pallets.
Access notes
Single entry point near the UFOs. Easy to miss if you never check the farm field edge.

Crystal Caves

A small dark cave under The Mountain. Most players overlook it, but the upper path can lead into Hollow Mountain.

Type
Cave
Also known as
Crystal Caverns
How to find
Just below The Mountain through a wooden cave entrance.
Best use
Lesser-known dark stop and secondary path into Hollow Mountain.
Notable features
Small dark cave under the mountain. Light sources matter inside, crystals can appear here, and an upper route connects into Hollow Mountain.
Access notes
Wooden entrance under the mountain. Treated as a dark area, so bring a light source if you need visibility.

Indies of the Cove

A secret maze cave off the train-cave side. Follow the crystal landmark, take the left peephole, and expect a confusing layout.

Type
Cave
Also known as
-
How to find
Along the side of the train cave. Pass the crystal landmark, then look left for a peephole-style hole into the labyrinth.
Best use
Exploration secret and maze-style hideout.
Notable features
Secret labyrinth cave branched off the train-cave side. Hard to navigate once inside.
Access notes
Easy to miss and easy to get lost. Wiki notes a thin prop such as a hay blade can help squeeze the peephole entry.

Building plots

1 items

The protected house sandbox system. Plot borders block grab and fling inside, ranks control who can build, and save/load slots keep layouts between sessions. Mountain House is a separate landmark home, not one of these plots.

Building Plots

The island's sandbox houses where grab and fling are blocked inside the border. Build with the item builder, manage ranks, and save plot layouts on the five house plots.

Type
Building system
Also known as
House plots
How to find
Five sandbox house plots placed around the island, including Green House and Pink House on the Plains plus Chinese House and Blue House among the house cluster.
Best use
Protected free-build houses for bases, saves, and furniture or toy setups.
Notable features
Plot borders, grab and fling protection inside, member ranks (Owner, Co-Owner, Member, Requester), item builder trapdoor, save/load slots, and a house toys limit of 600. Confirmed plot houses: Pink House, Green House, Chinese House, and Blue House (Blue replaced White House), with Poison House tied to the blue/poison side. Mountain House is a mountain landmark home and is not a building plot.
Access notes
Requesters need acceptance to build. Owner tools and save/load are role-gated. Leaving a plot too long drops ranks unless you have Infinite House Time.

How the island is laid out

Everything sits on one outdoor map. The Plains hold the big Roblox spawn decal in the middle, with the densest natural toy spawns and the busiest crowd. South of spawn is the farm hill: red barn, silo, and the Enclosed Field where two UFOs circle and beam the ground. North is The Mountain, the second-largest open region, with snow on the peak, a train stop, and the Mountain House landmark.

The Beach runs along the ocean edge by the Green and Pink house plots. Left of spawn, under the blue and Chinese house side, The Cave is the tunnel the looping train runs through once each ride. Holiday weather themes may recolor grass or sky, but the named regions stay put.

Poison factory side

Chained above the pits is Floating Island (Poison Factory), a fixed map landmark with barren factory buildings, outdoor poison tanks, and wide pipes that drop poison below. It is not the buyable Floating Island shop prop.

Directly under it sits Poison Pit: twin openings into a purple poison lake. Standing in that poison damages you and applies a camera filter, so treat the whole cluster as a hazard landmark rather than a safe hangout. Climb or fly onto the factory island if you only want the view.

Secrets and quieter spots

Away from the Plains rush, Hollow Mountain is the large hollow interior inside the northern peak. Three documented entrances: the front of the mountain left of the Green House (best known), the upper path from Crystal Caves, and a smaller hole on the ocean-facing back. Players use it to AFK, hide, or test toys with fewer interruptions.

Crystal Caves is the small dark cave under The Mountain through a wooden entrance. Bring a light if you care about visibility; crystals can appear inside, and the upper route can lead into Hollow Mountain. Near the farm UFOs, Secret Area is a compact hideout people block with props like pallets. Off the train-cave side, past a crystal landmark, look left for the peephole into Indies of the Cove, a maze that is easy to miss and easy to get lost in.

Building plots vs landmark homes

Building plots are the sandbox house borders placed around the island. Inside a plot, grab and fling are blocked, so they work as real bases. Confirmed plot houses include Pink House and Green House on the Plains, plus Chinese House and Blue House in the house cluster (Blue replaced White House). Poison House is tied to the blue/poison side. Use the item builder trapdoor, manage ranks (Owner, Co-Owner, Member, Requester), and save or load layouts, with a house toys limit of 600.

Mountain House on The Mountain is a landmark home, not a building plot. Expect furniture and food spawners near it, not the full plot rank and save tools. Requesters need acceptance before they can build. Leave a plot too long and ranks can drop unless you have Infinite House Time.

Quick tips

  • Meet friends at Plains spawn first; it is the default hub and toy-dense outdoor zone.
  • For calmer outdoor play, head to the Barn, Mountain, or Beach before diving into secrets.
  • Learn Hollow Mountain's front entrance left of the Green House before hunting the smaller ocean-side hole.
  • Do not stand in factory poison if you only meant to look around.
  • Claim or join a building plot when you want protected free-build space; landmark homes are not the same system.

FAQ

Q.

Is Fling Things and People one map or many maps?

One shared island. Named regions (Plains, Barn, Mountain, Beach, poison factory side, caves, house plots) are parts of that same map. Seasonal themes may change cosmetics, but they do not swap you onto a different permanent map.

Q.

What is Floating Island (Poison Factory)?

A fixed chained island above Poison Pit with the barren Poison Factory, outdoor poison tanks, and pipes that drop poison below. It is a map landmark, not the 1000-coin Floating Island item from the shop.

Q.

How do I get into Hollow Mountain?

Three documented ways: the front of the mountain left of the Green House, the upper path from Crystal Caves under the mountain, and a smaller hole on the ocean-facing back of the mountain. The front entrance is the best known.

Q.

Where is Secret Area?

One entrance near the farm UFOs on the Enclosed Field side of The Barn. It is a small hideout players often cover or block with props.

Q.

Does poison damage you?

Yes. Standing poison on the factory island and in Poison Pit damages players and applies a camera filter. Treat those spots as hazard landmarks.

Q.

Are Mountain House and building plots the same?

No. Building plots are the sandbox houses with borders, grab protection, ranks, and save/load. Mountain House is a landmark home on The Mountain and is not a building plot.

Q.

How do friends build on my house plot?

They request access and need acceptance. Ranks run Owner, Co-Owner, Member, and Requester. Owner tools and save/load are role-gated. Leaving a plot too long can drop ranks unless you have Infinite House Time.
