All 23 Commands in Catalog Avatar Creator

Updated on June 30, 2026 (11 days ago)

Catalog Avatar Creator's commands are shortcuts you type straight into the chat bar: no menus, no buttons, just a slash and a word. They cover everything from swapping your avatar's body type to jumping into a private server to spawning a copy of yourself standing next to you. None of them show up in any tutorial, so most players learn them by accident or by asking.

Command Type

Avatar Customization

6 items

These commands change your avatar's appearance or body type for the current session. The look applies only while you're in the game. It does not carry over to your Roblox avatar editor when you leave. Commands like /headless and /korblox replicate premium Roblox limited items so you can see how they look on your avatar before (or instead of) spending Robux.

Code Redemption

1 items

The /redeem command is separate from the avatar command system. It takes a promo code as an argument and grants a cosmetic item directly to your Roblox account. Replace the bracketed placeholder with the actual code string when you type it.

Redeem Code

Redeems a promo code such as MASCOT for a cosmetic reward.

The commands the game never tells you about

Every command works the same way: open the chat bar, type the command exactly as shown (including the /), and press Enter. There are no permission levels because all commands are available to every player from the moment they join.

The fastest command to memorize first is /cmds. Type it in-game and the full command list appears in your chat window, handy if you want a quick reminder without leaving the game.

Avatar Customization, session-only changes

Commands like /headless, /korblox, and /sshf let you try on Roblox items that normally cost thousands of Robux. The catch: they only apply within your current session. When you leave the game, your avatar goes back to normal, and nothing saves to your Roblox avatar editor. That makes these commands useful for screenshots and outfit comparisons, not permanent customization.

/r6 and /r15 switch your body type. R6 uses six joints and has the classic blocky Roblox look. R15 uses fifteen joints and works better with layered clothing and modern animations. Most players stick with R15, but if you're building an old-school outfit, /r6 makes it look right.

Staging your avatar with Utility commands

/booth drops a display booth in front of you with a text field you can edit. It's the go-to for showing off an outfit to other players in the same server. /clone spawns a static copy of your avatar that stands still, handy for side-by-side outfit comparisons. /npc does the same thing but the copy walks around on its own.

/speed takes a number after it, like /speed 50. There's no documented limit on how high or low you can go, so experiment. Fast enough and you're gliding; too fast and you might overshoot everything.

Picking the right server type

Catalog Avatar Creator has several server types and a command to reach each one:

CommandWhere it sends you
/vip or /privateA server only you can enter
/publicA standard server open to all players
/voiceA server with Roblox Voice Chat enabled
/mainBack to the main game area
/testThe developer's test server

/vip and /private do exactly the same thing, so either works. The test server (/test) is meant for the developer to preview updates; regular players can join it but will usually find it empty or broken in places.

A note on /redeem

/redeem is a separate system from the avatar commands. It takes a promo code after the slash, for example, /redeem MASCOT, and grants a cosmetic item to your account. Active promo codes change over time. Type the code string after /redeem when you have one.

FAQ

Q.

How do commands work in Catalog Avatar Creator?

Open the chat bar, type the command exactly as shown, starting with the /, and press Enter. Every command is available to all players with no special permissions needed. Type /cmds in-game to see the full list at any time.

Q.

Does /headless permanently change my avatar?

No. The headless effect only applies within your current game session. When you leave Catalog Avatar Creator, your avatar goes back to whatever it looked like before. The same applies to /korblox, /korblox2, and /sshf. They are all session-only.

Q.

What number should I use with /speed?

There's no officially confirmed minimum or maximum. The default Roblox walk speed is 16. Try something like /speed 30 or /speed 50 to start. Higher numbers make movement noticeably faster, and very high values can make it hard to control your avatar.

Q.

What is the difference between /clone and /npc?

/clone spawns a stationary copy of your avatar that stays exactly where it appears. /npc spawns a copy that moves around on its own. Use /clone when you want a still reference for outfit comparisons; use /npc when you want the copy to walk around like a character.

Q.

What is the difference between /vip and /private?

Nothing. They do the same thing. Both commands teleport you to a private server that no other players can join. Use whichever you remember more easily.

Q.

Should I use /test?

Only if you're curious about upcoming updates. The /test server is the developer's environment for previewing changes before they go live. It can be empty, unstable, or missing features that the main game has. For regular outfit browsing, stick with /public, /vip, or /voice.

Q.

How do I redeem a code in Catalog Avatar Creator?

Type /redeem followed by the code in the chat bar, for example /redeem MASCOT. The code is separate from the regular command system. It grants a cosmetic item to your Roblox account rather than changing anything in your current session.

Q.

What does /portrait do and should I use it?

/portrait switches the game to a vertical Portrait Mode layout designed for mobile players holding their device upright. Most players on phones or tablets won't need it since the game handles orientation automatically. It's listed as 'not recommended' in multiple guides, so skip it unless you have a specific reason to try it.
