Pick a Style for your character's abilities, then use its strengths to create chances, finish plays, or help defend. Your match actions build toward an awakening, while an equipped Flow adds buffs when its activation condition is ready. Teamwork wins more possessions than five players chasing the same ball, which is a very efficient way to defend nobody.

Styles are the equippable match kits in Blue Lock: Rivals. Regular styles come through Style Spins, while NEL styles are separate mastery forms tied to character quests. Pick by the class and capabilities you want on the pitch, and treat Limited skins as owner-inventory variants whose original route may no longer be open.
Flows:
Flows are temporary buffs that charge during a match and can be activated once the orange bar reaches at least 30%. Flow Spins come from quests, daily rewards, codes, Robux, and AFK World; each spin costs 2,000 Yen, and Legendary Pity is reached after 50 spins. Compare movement, shots, dribbles, passing, stamina, and tackles instead of judging a Flow by rarity alone. A linked style is a clue, but the right fit is the buff set that matches how you play.
Blue Lock: Rivals Gameplay Tips
- Pass before a defender reaches you. Moving the ball early keeps the attack alive and beats a forced dribble into traffic.
- Learn your Style's job before hunting for goals. Some kits create space, some finish chances, and some help your team defend or pass.
- Watch the Flow bar during the match. Save activation for a real play, such as a break, a recovery tackle, or a clean shooting lane.
- After losing the ball, recover your position first. A late tackle can pull you out of the play and leave the goal open.
