How WARDOGS Vehicle Prices and Unlock Costs Work
Unlock cost is the one-time fee that opens a vehicle in its role track. You still pay the vendor price each time you buy it, so reaching the unlock level and scraping together the fee won't cover your first ride. The Humvee, for example, needs Driver 14 and a $75,000 (Season 02) unlock fee, then another $3,000 (community-recorded) per purchase. Budget $78,000 to unlock it and buy it once.
“Season 02” means that exact amount appears in the official Season 02 notes. “community-recorded” means the amount isn't printed there. Purchase prices and Unlock costs are labeled separately.
Ground Transports Worth Saving For
Once you reach Driver 8, the Wolf-110 offers four seats for $2,200 (Season 02) per purchase after a $50,000 (Season 02) unlock fee. Compared with the open Kodiak, that saves just $300 each time you buy it. Don't spend the unlock money solely to cut the cost of an occasional trip.
The Kodiak [Pickup] makes a different trade: six seats for $3,000 (community-recorded) per purchase, with Driver 10 and a $35,000 (community-recorded) unlock fee. If your group needs the extra space, you're paying $500 more per trip than the base Kodiak to fit two more people.
For a mounted M249, the Kodiak [M249] opens at Driver 6 with a $50,000 (community-recorded) unlock fee and costs $6,750 (Season 02) per purchase. Tracked Vehicles: Low Purchase Prices Can Hide Expensive Unlocks
The SPH-2 costs $8,000 (community-recorded) per purchase, but its artillery unlock needs Driver 31 and $350,000 (Season 02). The T-72B3 tank opens earlier at Driver 20 for $250,000 (Season 02), although each purchase costs $16,000 (Season 02). A cheaper vehicle purchase doesn't necessarily mean a cheaper way into armor.
After unlocking them, a $32,000 purchase budget covers four SPH-2 purchases or two T-72B3 purchases. That's a cash comparison, not a reason to substitute artillery for a tank. The L2A6 is a larger commitment again: Driver 35, a $500,000 (community-recorded) unlock fee and $22,000 (Season 02) per purchase. Keep money aside for another purchase before spending everything on its unlock.
Transport Helicopters Versus Armed Helicopters
The MH-6 is the way into air transport without a Pilot unlock: $6,250 (community-recorded) buys six seats, split between two crew and four passengers. At Pilot 10, the Z20 Lakota needs a $35,000 (community-recorded) unlock fee and costs $7,400 (community-recorded) per purchase. Its two crew positions and 11 passenger seats make the extra $1,150 per trip useful when your group won't fit in the MH-6.
Both Z20 Lakota variants have 13 total seats. The [Miniguns] version uses four crew positions and nine passenger seats, so adding guns reduces passenger space. It also needs Pilot 25, an $85,000 (Season 02) unlock fee and $15,000 (Season 02) per purchase. Stick with the plain Lakota when passenger capacity and purchase cost matter more than mounted miniguns.
The AH-6M [Miniguns] opens at Pilot 8 with a $125,000 (Season 02) unlock fee and costs $12,000 (Season 02) per purchase.
