In Ashenfall, even a mining trip can turn into a spellcasting session. Gather resources, build a base and train skills that unlock new ways to survive.
Turn what you bring home into supplies, weapons and armor, then head back out to explore farther. Play alone or with friends as you prepare to face the Dragon Queen.

Weapons
Weapons belong to Attack, Ranged or Magic. Match the combat skill you want, then compare Power Level and Durability before settling on an option.
Armor & Shields
Compare head, body and leg armor by Power Level, Durability and Weight. Shields have their own group so you can weigh up shield choices separately. Keep comparisons between pieces that could replace each other.

Dragonwilds gameplay tips
- Build a Rain Catcher once Farming unlocks it. It collects rain and filters it into Clean Water over time, giving you a supply to collect at home between expeditions.
- Once you unlock Rocksplosion, use it to break stone boulders and ore on gathering trips. Blasting a deposit gets you back to exploring instead of working through it hit by hit.
- Use each Sanguine Urn you find before setting off for a tougher fight. It permanently raises your maximum health, adding a lasting cushion alongside your armor and shields.
- Bring a Slash weapon if you're going after an Abyssal Demon, since Slash is its weakness. Compare power level and durability when choosing your next weapon.
